The next day, Ulrich, Dallas, Odd, and Yumi were standing by the vending machine, trying to figure out what Jeremie and Aelita were doing.
"They're probably working on getting William back." Yumi said.
"They better be, unless they're secretly dating or something." Dallas said as they all laughed.
"Well I wouldn't be suprised." Odd said.
"Yeah, have you seen the way they look at each other sometimes?" Ulrich said. They all laughed again. Then the bell rang for lunch.
"Finally! I'm STARVING!" Odd said. As they all went to the lunchroom. Jeremie and Aelita were already there.
"Dallas, what's wrong?" Aelita asked when Dallas sat down. She kept shutting her eyes really tight.
"It's probably just a headache..." She said.
"Ok guys, you might have to go to sector five later. Just for exploring and research. We might find a way to bring back-" Jeremie got cut off because Dallas had driven her fork into the table. And it stayed there when she let go of it. "Um...are you okay?" Jeremie asked.
"XANA...trying to take over...my mind..." She said. When she finished talking, the superscan beeped. "I...have to stay as...far away from the factory...as..possible..."
