Renegade

I looked over at Ravager as he attempted to straighten his tie in the elevator mirror. "God Damn it, why is this so difficult?" I grumbled, slamming his hand on the mirror.

"Turn around idiot," I said, pulling him by his shoulder so he was facing me so I could fix his tie. "How have you never done this before? I mean I've been tying my own tie sense I was ten."

"It wasn't really one of my fathers priorities," he said, specifically looking away from me. "I'm surprised Batman would be any different."

"Had to keep up appearances," I said standing up straight and looking at his tie, nodding at him. "Now, please explain what we're doing here again."

"Seriously Renegade?" he snapped, rolling his eyes at me. "My father used to have an informant here, but he recently decided to quit, we're here to change his mind."

"Not exactly the normal job for me," I chuckled, unbuttoning my jacket. "So I'm assuming that this isn't just gonna be a friendly chat."

"Not exactly, no," he answered, glancing over at me. "You know you look kinda familiar."

"I've got one of those faces," I said, glancing over at my now bald head through my sunglasses before the elevator dinged and the door opened to reveal a large office on our where we were facing, and a hallway behind us. "This the place?"

"Yes," he said walking out of the elevator, signaling for me to follow. "Hello Mr. Melor, it's good to see you again."

A small balled man in a nice suit stood up behind the desk as we walked in, his eyes wide as he looked at Ravager. "Grant, it's been a while!"

"Sit down!" I said, resting on the left corner of his desk, pulling him down to the his chair by his shoulder.

"Mr. Melor, we're here to discuss your continued employment to the Terminators," Ravager said, placing his hands on the opposite side of the desk from Melor. "See, Deathstroke isn't very happy that you want to leave, so Renegade and I are here to convince you to stay."

"Look, Grant, it's nothing personal, it's just, Batman's been on my case more than usual," he said, glancing over at me. "Have I seen you before?"

"Yeah, they used to call me Robin," I said, picking him up by the neck and walking him over to the the window. "So don't tell me about the Bat being on your ass,"

"You're Robin," he asked, grabbing tight onto my wrist, staring at my sunglasses. "What are you doing working for Deathstroke?"

"He pays better," I said, dropping him to the the floor where he fell to the ground, gasping for air. "So remember, if a Bat tells you what to do, just say Mne zhal', Babs."

"What's that supposed to mean?" he asked, staring up at me, his eyes tearing up slightly.

"They'll know, trust me," I said, walking around the desk, looking Ravager in the eyes. "Let's get out of here."

"What did you tell him?" he asked as the elevator door closed. "Was it Russian or something?"

"Yeah, I just told him what I've alway wanted to tell the old man," I said, looking Grant in the eyes. "I'm my own man Bats."

Batman

"What did he say?" Melor asked, looking at me as I walked out of the corner of the room.

"Russian," I said, walking past him and to the window. "Give them fake information from now on, and try and discover their location," I jumped out of the window gliding over a few few buildings before dropping down into an ally and going into a sewer grate where I opened up the Titans comms channel. "Batgirl, go see George Melor at Cord Tower."

Batgirl

"Hello Mr. Melor," I said as I opened the Kord tower window, perching of the glass below it.

"Why did everyone in spandex choose to visit me today?" he asked, slamming his hands on his desk as I came in. "Sorry, it's been a stressful day."

"Well that's what happens when you're an informant for multiple criminals," I said, walking around his desk and sitting on it. "So, got anything to say about that?"

"Uhh, Myin szal Babs..." he said, his scratching his bald head. "I think it's Russian or..."

"Mne zhal' Babs..." I said, looking back out the open window. "It's definitely Russian," I chuckled a bit and jumped off the table before running out the window and gliding through the city. "Wooooohoooooo!" I shouted, launching myself over towards my motorcycle before opening my comms. "Guys, I've got some good news!"

Raven

"This is wonderful news!" Starfire said, jumping off of the couch after Barbara delivered her news.

"Are you positive that it came from him?" I asked, looking up at Batgirl from my space. "After all, you did say that this man was a criminal informant."

"Look, he's the only person who calls me Babs, and definitely the only one who speaks to me in Russian," she said said, an obvious smile on her face.

"Even if it was him, who's to say that it's not just a way to lower our guards," I said, the room becoming much more sullen.

"Robin would never do that!" Starfire said, glowering down at me. "He's our friend and you should trust him more!"

"Calm down Star, Raven might be right, so we should try not to let our guard down too much," Batgirl said, a smile still on her face. "Next time we fight him, we try and capture him, but we don't give him a choice about it."
