Dreaming (Ethan Dolan Fanfic)

Chapter 4

It's been a few weeks of the girls going to their singing and acting classes while going to work also. We all decided that it was time that the guys met them. It was on one condition, they could have over one other friend that they met at acting class. Her name was Emily. Blond and very pretty from their description, but still my type. Rachel was my type. But anyways, the guys were coming over at 2:00 while Emily will be here around 3 ish. 

It was 1:30 and the girls just got home from shopping or something like that. For the next 30 minutes we just talk and hang out. We finally heard the first knock on the door, and there in the doorway was Cameron Dallas, Aaron Carpenter, and Matt Espinosa. I introduced them to Grace first, then my sister Riley, then lastly Rachel, hoping that none of them would flirt with her. About 5 minutes after they got there, Shawn Mendes, Jack Dail, and Hayes Grier show up. As soon as Hayes walks in, I see both him and my sister light up. Oh no, not my sister! Oh well, he can have her as long as I get Rachel, her best friend. 

Emily shows up and everything gets slightly louder. Riley and Hayes are talking together most of the time, Emily and Shawn are making good conversation next to Riley and Hayes. Rachel is with Cam, Jack, Matt, Aaron, and myself. I realize that Grace and Grayson were also talking together and laughing about something. Everyone is having a great time. Too soon, everyone has to go home and get some rest. Once everyone leaves, we clean up the small mess we made and went to bed. As I walked passed Riley's room, I over heard her talking to Grace and Rachel about, Hayes! "I really like him, but we just met. What do I do?" I heard her say. "Just wait a bit longer and get to know him more." Rachel replied. At that moment I decided that I had waited long enough, and that I was going to tell Rachel about how I feel about her. But for now, I needed some sleep.

Rachel's P.O.V -

Hey, looky there! I got 5 days off from work. I'm going to use those day this weekend and go home to visit family and friends. I'll go tell everyone that I leave tomorrow. I head to the kitchen where I hear most of the noise coming from. "Hey everyone I have news to tell all of you." Everyone looks in my direction and is automatically interested in what I have to say. "I'm going home to Alabama for the next 5 days!" I look at everyone and see that they are each excited for me all except for Ethan, he looks like I just slapped him in the face. "Ethan, you okay with that?" I ask him. "Yeah, I guess, it's not my decision to make" "Good, 'cause I miss my family. I'll only be gone for 5 days, that's not too long." I don't know what was up with Ethan, but I knew that if I was going to live with him, I would have to keep my feelings for him under control. Around the time I think this thought, I get a text from, huh, Clay. 

Clay is an old friend/crush from home. We have been great friends since around 1st grade. I haven't seen him since I left. Now that I remember him, I really miss him and can't wait to see him. The message reads - Hey! Just wondering, when is the next time you think you will be home? When you do come home, feel free to hmu and we can catch up!  I respond back with this - Hey Clay! I am coming home this weekend! I would love to hang out and catch up. I'll text you when and where we can meet up.  I send it and start packing for tomorrow.

Ethan's P.O.V -

As soon as I heard that she was going home for a few days, my plans to tell her how I felt were trashed. I don't want her to be thinking about me the whole weekend. I want her to enjoy her time with her family and old friends. I'll just tell her once she gets back home.
