Thunder erupted and all the lights went out.

"NOOOOOOOOO!" We screamed and got up from the couch.

"YESSSSSSSSS!" Cinnamon screamed instead and got up from the arm chair.

"They were so close! So close to winning!" I sat back down and held my head in my hands.

"Popcorn!" Cinnamon said and I heard the sound of her chewing. And very loudly I may add.

"Hey why are all the lights off?" She asked.

"Probably a fuse or power outage... And Max get off me! Ethan said and I could faintly see the two brothers fighting.

Max cleared his throat and said, "I wasn't holding onto you... I was... Trying to protect Cinnamon" he said trying to move to her side but fell to our feet. Literally.

"Yeah sure you were a scaredy cat!" Cinnamon laughed.

"Dude you sure she's 15? She acts like she's 5" Ethan whispered

"What do you expect when my Mom gave her the name Cinnamon? This family isn't exactly normal... and don't talk about my sister that way!" I shoved him

"Uh hem! I'm right here! Hmph!" She said and judging by her tone she did her 'signature move' of crossing her arms and what my mom calls her 'mad face'.

Thunder erupted again and then a frightened girly scream came.

"Cin! You okay?!" I called alarmed. My heart beating into overdrive, my eyes wide, my body ready.

"That wasn't me. That was Max" she said

I instantly calmed down. She's okay. I thought as I tried to get my heart rate back to normal.

I took out my phone. The screen read 12:05 am. Friday, July 13, 2018.

I put on the flashlight app and looked around. I saw Max holding onto Ethan with a scared face and immediately let go. I saw Cinnamon, her red wild curls facing me. She stood there frozen. Almost paralyzed.

I reached for her shoulder and looked at her. Her green eyes wide and dilated as I pointed the light at her freckled face now a ghostly white, but not because of the light.

"Cin what's wrong?" I asked.

She stretched her arm out and pointed to something down the hall. In front of her.

I aimed the flashlight toward it and saw dazzling violet eyes meet mine. Her loose wavy blonde hair framed her pretty face perfectly. This strange yet utterly stunning woman wore a long black dress and cloak. I had also become paralyzed, not of fear, but almost mesmerized by her ability to be so beautiful yet so creepy. Almost like a Beautiful Nightmare.

As she came closer and closer my heart beat sped up, unable to move. My vision started to fade getting blurrier and blurrier until the last thing I saw was her, giving me an eerie knowing smile.
