Grand Marks Hotel, Washington D.C.
Agent Alexei Petrikov
It was a matter of days after we were assigned to guard the mainframe that we executed step 3.
3 days after assignment Grand Marks Hotel, Washington D.C.
I laughed evilly. Today was the day of termination, the deadline. We had gained Don Richards' trust. I grabbed the mini drive and got up from my messy bed. "Screw that shit." I said, noting the bed.
Natasha was still asleep next to me as I got up. I decided not to wake her yet, as I had to come up with a plan first. Besides, our fun last night with Alena and Mikhail was fun. We watched The Possession. Not too scary.
I ran hundreds of scenarios through my head until I came to a logical solution. This was a devious plan. I admired The Commander for his careful thought of this plan.
I laid my hands on Natasha's arm and shook her. She stirred. "What? Alexei? Is that you?"
I chuckled. "Yes Natasha, it's me Alexei." She opened her eyes slightly, then closed them. Hmm, I thought of a way to get her up, a comical one as well. Quickly, I picked up my phone and navigated to the funny buttons app.
I whispered in her ear. "Natasha, wake up, the Doctor's outside!" (Yes, the Doctor)
Immediately she perked up and looked around. "Where?!" While she was looking, I slid the buttons to the 'r' section.
"Sorry, he left. But he left a message on my phone." She gazed in wonder and suspicion. "Look, I'll play it."
I tapped a button. What came from the phone next was the funniest thing ever. A 1980s beat came out, and after several seconds, a familier voice came on the sound. "We're no strangers to love, you know the rules, and so do I."
Natasha's expression was incredibly funny. She slapped me on the arm and I laughed. "God, that was funny! You should have seen your face Natasha! Talk about rage mode." She flipped me off and walked to the bathroom to change her clothes, grabbing hers on the way. I carefully placed the voice changer on my neck. The small pain prick surged through and it was over.
"Today's the day Natasha." I said, "The Day of Reckoning for these Americans." I put the ID card in my pocket. "Let's go." Natasha walked out with the voice changer blending in with her skin.(camo!)
"Alright Mr. Quick. Let's go." Natasha was in her CIA suit, as was I. Grasping my briefcase, we walked out our door, making sure our keys were with us. We were checking out of the hotel. We left our bags in the room, we didn't need them.
When I got down to the front desk. Natasha went back to the room to get something she left. A mistake we can take. The attendant was there again, the one from the first day. "Hi there!" She said in her annoying chipper voice. "How was your stay?" she asked as I placed my key on the desk.
"Good. We have to go now, here's the money." I said. Natasha joined me. I laid three hundred dollar bills on the desk.
"But that's over enough, don't you want change." I glanced at Natasha and back at the attendant. I smiled.
"Call it a tip sweet cheeks." I said. She looked shocked as we walked out the door. Once out, we both laughed out loud. "God that was funny!"
"Geez Alexei! What was that about?" She asked, still laughing. "I knew she liked from the minute we got there."
I looked at her. I chuckled. "False satisfaction Natasha, false satisfaction." We walked to the Pentagon.
1 hour later.
By 8:00 am we were walking through the front door. Angela greeted us at the front desk. "Hey Angela, hows it going?"
"Good Colin, ready to guard the mainframe? Again?" She asked sarcastically. I liked Angela. She was a kind hearted person.
"Yep. Gotta preform security checks on the mainframe first." I said. 'Yes, security checks' I said sarcastically in my head. We waved goodbye and strolled through the rooms. We passed friends we made during our employment at the CIA. Finally we made it to the mainframe room. I smiled. Two guards were standing guard obviously.
Natasha showed her security card to the guards. I do the same. We were in, the mainframe room. Game over. The room had a wall of computers facing the back wall.
There were oodles of buttons and switches everywhere. Now knowing the switches by heart, I flicked one that brought the security check up. Due to standard procedures, I disabled them.
"Nows our chance." I said quietly to Natasha. Natasha unlocked the briefcase I had been carrying. She pulled a small hard drive from the case and placed it next to me. "Thanks."
Looking for the correct USB port, as there was a wall of them. Patterns of many varying types. "No, no no." I was getting frustrated.
One of the guards called, "Everything alright in there?"
"Affirmative Johnson. All is well." I continued my search in silence, worried they'd catch on. Finally, after several minutes of looking, we found the correct port.
Slowly, I stuck the hard drive in. A red message showed on the screen. LOCKHEAD VIRUS prepared. Access code to initiate. "Ghost it quickly!" Natasha said, slightly panicking.
"I'm on it!" I replied. I typed the command GHOST into the keyboard and right clicked the virus file. It disappeared. "It's ghosted."
"Good." Now, let's get out before they find out. I held up one finger, asking for a minute.
I typed the following in the keyboard. 'Computer, activate deception mode.' The words SECURITY WALL REBUILT showed.
I closed the briefcase. I could hear panicked footsteps outside the door. Suddenly, 20 Agents flooded the room. "What's going on guys?" I asked.
"Get over here." One said, grabbing my arm. I wouldn't tolerate this. I wrapped my arm afound his. I heard him squeal in pain. With my other arm I slammed it on his arm, effectively breaking it. A quick punch to the face left him out.
I felt someone grab my shoulder. I grabbed the briefcase. Using the briefcase, I spun around and slammed it in his face. He staggered back, clutching his bleeding broken nose. They swarmed around us, we fought, back to back. Valiently, for Russia! I dropped the briefcase.
An agent tried to punch, I grabbed his arm. he tried with his other arm. I caught that one too. In one fluid move I rolled around the man and held his arms behind his back. One hand held his two arms. I used my remaining arm to snap his arms. I shoved hhim away as he yowled in pain.
"Hey Colin!" Said one of the men. "You dropped your briefcase!" I turned around to see my own briefcase swinging rapidly toward my head. Impact.
"Oh God!" I yelled, clutching my face as I fell to the ground. Agents stood above me. One leaned down and stuck a needle into me. "he's been sedated." Was the last words I heard before I blacked out.
