The sky was grey already making the morning slow and cold. The wind was harsh even with my scarf and a coat on. Sure I was in Los Angeles and it was 61 degrees but I was freezing.

Before heading to the studio, I stopped by the coffeeshop we had next door and sat down by the window. I turned up my music and opened my notebook. Being a song writer, I took this thing were ever I went. I was writing down a few lines along with notes for the melody when the door chimed. It was still really early for most people to be awake. I was a morning person and I wasn't much a people person.

I looked up and saw none other than Louis Tomlinson from One Direction walk up to the register and order.

I was a ghost writer meaning my name never should up on the songs I wrote. Louis Tomlinson had no idea I wrote most of "Happily" and all of "Something Great" for their last album.

His tattoos were peeking through his clothes and his hair was combed back but it still managed to look messy and relaxed. And wonderful.

No. Stop. I couldn't think like that.

I went back to my notes.

with your love

nobody can drag me down

no body no body

I hummed the lyrics and liked how they sounded. I was onto somethhing.

"Mind if I sit here?"

I looked up to find Louis with his hand on the chair across from me, his eyes mesmerizing me for a second. I couldn't move or speak. I snapped out of it and looked around at the empty coffee shop confused.

"There are other tables." I replied. I didn't want to seem mean but I just couldn't help myself.

"I know but I insist on taking the best seat in the house which is across from you. You seem lonely anyways." He sat down.

"I'm not." I replied coldly. Was that suppose to be flirting?

"So what are you working on?" He pointed at my notebook. I immediately closed it.

"Nothing." I shrugged. Thankfully, he changed the subject.

"So I see you don't like the weather much." Pointing at my large coat and scarf despite being inside.

"I live in LA for a reason. It shouldn't be this cold." I frowned as I looked out the window to the cloudy sky.

"I can tell." he chuckled as he looked down at his jean jacket over a simple tank top. I chuckled a little before I realizing I was actually having a conversation with a person and it wasn't even 7 AM yet. I looked down at my phone and realized I only had few minutes to get to my meeting that morning.

"Well I have to go." I stood up and started gathering my things. I accidentally dropped my notebook on the floor which Louis was quick to get for me.

"Here you go. It was nice meeting you." He flashed a smile and I almost melted. Darn you Louis Tomlinson. Darn you.

"Uhh, yeah you too." I smiled.

"Stay warm." He chuckled.

"Thanks, I will." I laughed a little. He sat back down and kept sipping his coffee as I walked out the door. Something about him made me feel warm inside despite how cold it was. It was unexplainable. I didn't want to dwell on it though. It was unrealistic.

I quickly walked into the building next door and went up straight up to my new office. I sat down and my thoughts went back to Louis in the coffee shop. He was nice. Too nice. Why would he talk to me?
