Olivia's pov
"Now I need you to put this on." Louis said as he handed me a blindfold.I looked at him like he was crazy because he was.
"Um, why?" I replied not liking the idea.
"I want it to be a surprise."
"I can be surprised and keep my eyes open."
"Oli, just put it on." He pleaded. He was pouting, still holding the blindfold out towards me. This was stupid, I thought to myself as I grabbed it from his hand.
"The things I do for you." I joked as I tied a knot behind my head, securing the blindfold.
"I'm thankful, really." Louis replied, but I couldn't tell if he was serious or not since I couldn't see his face.
"Are you being serious or are you playing long with my sarcasm?" I asked.
"We probably shouldn't have a serious conversation when you can't see me, eh?" He chuckled.
"Yeah especially because I probably look really stupid right now."
"Alright, we'll wait."
Neither of us said anything after that and it was awkwardly quiet. We didn't know what to say unless it was to tease each other. I fiddled with the hem of my dress trying to figure out what I was going to say tonight. I guess the reason why we had nothing to talk about now was because we had so much to talk about later. We needed to get the conversation out of the way, but
neither us new when to start it, or rather we didn't want to start it with one of us blindfolded because that would just be weird."What exactly are we doing tonight?" I asked, hoping to at least make small talk.
"Well, we're going to a....thing?" Louis failed to answer my question.
"No way! I love that place."
"The sarcasm is not appreciated." Louis snapped back playfully.
"Well that sure said a lot about where we're going. I can practically see it now despite the blindfold."
"You know, when we first met you were quieter. What happened to that?"
"You."
"Well then." Louis scoffed as if offended.
"This is when I would say I'm joking, but I'm not this time."
"I don't know if I should be offended or proud."
"You are changing the subject!" I pointed at him, or at least I thought I did. I wasn't exactly sure.
"I did no such thing."
"It better not be lame."
"Here we go again, have I ever taken you somewhere lame?" He rolled his eyes playfully.
"Well not yet." I smirked.
"You have such little faith in me." He shook his head.
"Are we far?" I looked toward window only to remember I couldn't see anything.
"No, actually we're here." Louis replied as the car came to a slow stop. "I'll come around and get you. Don't move."
"Right because I can move with my incredible eye sight." I replied just before he closed the door. I heard him open my door and with both hands he helped me out in one piece.
"Okay, you can take it off now."
I slipped it off, blinking and squinting as I adjusted to the lights. I couldn't see anything in particular as my eye sight got clearer, that was until I turned around.
