Missy woke up to the sound of silence. But still stuck in the bush. Carefully she pulled out her vaporiser and dusted off the mud, leaves etc. She pointed it at the shrubbery around her that seemed less comfortable than before. In fact it seemed thorny? A few buttons later and a glowing orange-red beam flew from the device, melting away the branches and freeing her. "Well then", Missy breathed with relief. But her beautiful updo was now scraggling at her shoulders. She hated hair in her face and especially flicking it away all the time, so gently she pulled out the long black pin holding the rest of it together. She stared at the pin for a minute, trying to rack her brain for what it was. Time Lords may have superior biology but it seems that that superiority ended with memory. Then it came to her, the thought brought to the front of her mind out of the clutter of Time Wars and Daleks. Carefully she took it in her hand and flicked it. A thin elongated blade flipped out and she studied it more. Small purple gems were in the top of the pin, extending further into the handle of the blade. She grinned at it and firmly bit her lip, trying to decide what to do with this new toy. A forested area surrounded her, but no humans. "How disappointing..." she murmured. "But don't worry Doctor, I will find you". She took her blade in her hand and put it to the porcelain skin. A drop of crimson blood ran from it and she could feel her regeneration energy surging inside her. "And this..." She said into her hand that was now dripping with golden tinted blood. Cautiously she carved a word into her hand. Missy didn't flinch as it didn't hurt; her regeneration energy was healing every cut she made, just leaving a silvery scar where they were. She pulled back the knife and smiled mischievously at her finger. The word was now in her skin forever, embedded in her soul and written across her heart. It was a poem in a word, with her hand as the parchment and the knife a quill. And that word meant her life to her. "...is just a reminder dearie", she lilted, looking once more at her limb. Written there in silvery lines was the word "Doctor".
