Dan's POV (shitz bout to get real)
Once I had realized what I had done I started to try and apologize but before I could her hand collided with my face. I deserved that. Then I feel an immense pain in my crouch. I fall to the floor trying to recover. I deserved that too. She walks over to our closet and grabs her black and red spotted suitcase that I got for our one year anniversary. I try to stop her but she won't even acknowledge me. Mikki packs all her stuff into the suitcase and walks out the door without ever looking back at me.
I lost her. I messed up big time. I can't believe I actually hit her. I walk over to the corner of my room and slide down the wall into a sitting position with my head in my knees. Phil and Kat walk in and see me there.
"Why did Michaela have a red hand print on her cheek Dan?! What did you do to her? Did you actually fucking hit her?! You know damn well what her biological parents were like and you do that shit to her? Well at least I can see that she slapped you back. You don't deserve her if you hit her." Kat yells at me with tears in her eyes. "I thought you were better than that Dan. She trusted you, we all trusted her with you and then you do this." Kat basically sobs while still yelling.
"I can't believe you Dan..." Phil says ashamed. I'm crying by this point. Phil and Kat leave me and go to their room.
Michaela was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was a dick and I lost her. She was so fragile. I think I shattered her. I don't know if I'll ever be able to get her back.
