Piper's P.O.V

I knew this day was going to be bad as soon as I woke up and saw Louis Tomlinson on the other half of my bed. I'm not going to lie, I honestly didn't mind too much. It was wrong, I know, but somehow it felt right. I knew I would hear about it later though. As soon as school ended, I saw a familiar car in the parking lot. Liam. I couldn't decide between walking to my car in the other direction, or going over to him. He'd probably taken notice of me standing there at the front of the school, shuffling my feet around. I was a bit scared, which I shouldn't be. This was my boyfriend. He wasn't going to hurt me. I saw the driver's door of his car open and I headed over, not wanting him to think I was ignoring him.

"Piper," he started.

"Liam, I can explain everything," I interrupted.

"He slept over at your house!" He yelled. A group of girls standing in front of the school turned around to inspect what was going on. I saw Sierra's face light up with excitement as she realized what was going on.

"Li, it's not what it sounds like. His car broke down on my street and-"

"Why was he on your street anyway?!" His hands were clenched into fists and his cheeks were turning red.

"He came over because he was taking me to get a tattoo. I didn't want you to go because I thought you wouldn't approve," I lied through my teeth and felt a wave of guilt wash over me.

"So you expected him to come and everything?"

"Yes. We went together and while we were there, he decided to get a tattoo too," I sighed, trying to ignore the stares and malicious giggles coming from the kids in front of the school, "Then, he left to go home and his car broke down on my street, so he stayed at my house."

"In your room?" Liam lifted an eyebrow. I looked down at my feet. I felt embarrassed and overexposed. Everyone was observing everything an I didn't like this. I was used to minding my own business and everyone else minding theirs.

"Yes, in my room. Liam, I won't happen again. Please-"

"It's not going to happen again. Piper, you are not allowed to see him again. I told him the same thing about you. I don't want you to talk to each other ever again," he said. A silence came between us as I tried to process what he just said. He just forbade me not to see someone. This wasn't right. I felt confined, claustrophobic in a way. He couldn't do this to me, but I wasn't going to fight back. I liked Liam a lot and I didn't want to ruin anything.

"I- okay," I gave in.

"Good," I smile of satisfaction crept across his face. I hope he was happy now, because I wasn't.
