He was in shock.

He felt numb,empty.

No one could make him feel better.

She was special.

And he never ever got to confess.

Now he was marrying someone else

Someone he didn't love...

How did this happen?

Oh yeah I remember now.

(Flashback)

Iceland pov

It was a regular day. Sort of. It was more of a horrible day.

I had forgotten my keys in my car and I forgot my report on my country at home.

Someone bumped into me.

"Hey watch it!-"

In front of me was a beautiful girl.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry"

She said.

"I-it's fine" I answered quickly.

The next thing i knew I was having a long conversation with her.

After we exchanged numbers and talked and hung out a few times.

I really liked her. She was nice and considerate. She was beautiful too.

I "might" have developed a "huge " crush on her.

But that's ok right?

The next day. I turned on the news before I was going to go to the movies with (y/n).

I was exited but i also wanted to know the weather.

But when i first put on the news it wasn't the weather i was expecting.

Before my eyes was a reporter in front of a school. What she said might ruined my life forever.

" today we report the sad death of 24 students at (your school). A man broke into the school with a riffle. His motive is currently unknown. But we will show everyone who has died at this incident.

Pictures of the dead students

appeared on the screen.

A few he didn't know but he was getting increasingly anxious.

Please don't have (y/n)'a picture. Please please don't have (y/m)'a picture.

And there you were.

"If you know anyone who was shown please claim the body. "

He was heartbroken.

He turned off the tv.

And headed to the school.

There he saw you.

Only it wasn't really you.

You weren't happy.

You weren't smiling like you always did.

You weren't laughing.

You were dead and you looked terrible.

After he left he saw something in the corner of his eyes.

It was your parents and friends ,looks like you touched many people's hearts.

He attended your funeral afterwards he just moped.

Just stood around the house thinking about you.

Eating random packaged foods like chips and ramen.

He was put in an arranged marriage for political sake.

He barely knew her. But he did know he didn't want to marry.

He would much rather marry you.

But he couldn't. He couldn't be with you because you were dead.

"I guess it isn't always a fairy tale. "
