“You just have to discover who you are before you know where you’re going.” My gaze flickers up from the cigarette burning between his long fingers to Parker’s dark blue eyes. He’s staring at me, the same expression painted onto his face as the day we met.
“Have you discovered yourself, yet?” I dare to ask him. Something unreadable passes in his irises but he levels his stare at the ocean in front of us before I can determine what it is. Dropping his burnt out smoke on the ground he stands up and looks down at me. “I know where I'm going.”
I watch his eyes harden as I reply. “And where would that be?"
"Nowhere."
