Chapter 5

"Nathan I'm so sorry" I cried
As I had transformed in front of him I sat on the floor crying in the bathroom "you should have told me your a fucking monster" he said coldly leaving the bathroom that I had sat in 

"You lied to me Kat! You should have fucking told me!!!" he yelled I hated his tone towards me. I had never seen this side of him before as he punched the wall. "You stop that tone with me and show me some respect I didn't always use to be like this I'm just figuring out how to control it!" I yelled back at him walking after him still in tears. "Kat, we have been best of friends for 15 years like ever since kindergarten and you never told me!"
He ran his fingers through his hair contemplating what to say.
"And we just started dating for what a 2 or 3 days now and you still haven't said anything!" I started crying again "you don't understand Nathan!" Nathan walked over to his door closing it for privacy "try me?"

"I've just started transforming since I was fifteen about two years ago and I'm just learning on how to master my abilities, " I said I looked down at my hands as tears still rolled.
"Do you have any other abilities?"
He asked I didn't answer that question. "So you do. What are they?"
Again I looked at my hands "Increased agility and strength But I've mastered those" I said assuring that I have control over those abilities.
"But I can assure you, Nathan, all this doesn't change how I feel about you"
I took a stab to try to appeal to his sensitive side. Needing him to understand.

He looked at me with his big blue eyes "I'm not sure if I believe you or this" I laughed "what? Ok, I can understand if this is a lot to process but I just shifted right in front of you or is it that you now have developed short-term memory loss or something?" I asked.
Nathan sat down on the opposite side of the bed running his hands through his hair again "I'm afraid your gonna have to leave" he said
"What the hell Nathan? Are you serious?"
"Get out!!!" those words slapped me in the face. Was he out of mind? Talking to me like that.
"Get Out!! KAT!!!" he yelled his butler was then at the door along with a few escorts of some sort "What the crap I just laid out my heart and the truth out to you and you gonna reject it like I wasn't worth shit?" the escorts grabbed a hold of me trying to pull me out of his room "Nathan tell them to let me go!" he didn't answer me "NATHAN!!" I screamed the escorts dragged me all the way out of this room down the spiraling stairwell with me kicking and screaming like an idiot. Nathan was standing at the top of the stairwell now looking at them dragging me away like I was a hoe from off the street I cried "Nathan what about, Us? You and me? What you promised me?" the guards stopped for a moment to open the double doors. I ran back to the bottom of the stairwell looking up at him waiting for his answer. He stared at me and what he said broke my heart "There was never an us, not even a you" his stone cold words hit me right there and stabbed me in the heart. 
I fell to me knees sobbing. The guards dragged me by the arms right out of the house onto the steps and slammed the door right in my face. I stood crying and sobbing. Could this day get any worse?
