"They say that absence makes the heart grow ponder, but not in my case, I supposed!" - Stan

After the incident that we had the other day, Katie didn't showed up until today, she was absent for two consecutive days. I don't have to feel guilty because it's choice of not going to school. Or did I tell her not to, unconsciously? No, I said that she should not get in my way, yeah-that's it-no other things. I can't ask anyone from here, as far as I know she doesn't make friends with others and me of course.

Why would I think of her! They say that absence make the heart grow ponder, but not in my case, I supposed! I was in my deep thought when my professor has called me.

"Mr. Miller, you should go to the administrator's office now." Administrator's office? Maybe they will give me the verdict of my actions. Whatever that is, that's life I should bare with it.

"I'm going, sir" I go out of the classroom and set off to the administrator's office. After several knocked I entered the office and saw Mrs. Fords. She invited me to sit.

"Mr. Miller, glad you came this instance, I was about to tell you the good news that you were no longer be suspended with your actions." I was stunned; maybe Katie really did talk to her.

"What happened?" I'm still curious. I needed an answer.

"Ms. Collins, beg that you really has nothing to do with the incident, so the school staff who's concerned with what happen decided to flee you from being suspended provided that-"

"Wait there's a consequence?" Oh no!

"Of course Mr. Miller in every action there's always a consequence. We decided that since Ms. Collins is new here and doesn't have any companion, you have to accompany her for a month until she can make her own circle of friends and she can totally adjust with our school." Upon hearing this, how can this thing happen to me? A while ago I think of myself being rude to her and now I should accompany her? What the watermelon fudge!

"How can I do that?"

"You have to be friends with her, make sure that she will not be bullied or threatened again, Mr. Miller, Mrs. Collins was really concerned about her daughter's situation inside the school grounds and since you help her once I can count on you that you will be the best person who can do this." I don't get this thing on my mind me? The best person to do such. One day I want to get rid of her and then suddenly I have to be with her. I loved life for it brings endless good news.

"What if I don't do that?" I have to do the alternatives.

"Then claim your suspension for two weeks, and participate in all the activities inside the school premise. Not a bad idea at all, Mr. Miller" What a good choice.

"No good deal, but I choose to accept defeat by yeah-being someone's friend." It would be better because that would only for a month nothing more nothing less. They don't require me to be nice, they just want me to accompany her. Yeah-right!

"I know you will be on this, thanks Mr. Miller, when Ms. Collins arrived will talked to both of you. Thanks for cooperating you may now go."

As I leave Mrs. Fords' office, I can't believe it is happening. Me Stan Miller, will become secluded to be friend with Ms. Collins?
