I took quick strides across the classroom while everyone continued to stare at me.Taking my seat next to the blue haired boy, I opened up my notebook and tried to pay attention to the board.

" Alright class, let's turn to the front and get ready to take some notes. This will be on your next test so pay close attention." Mrs. Rodriquez announced before giving me a final smile.

Finally, everyone turned to the front of the room; I let out a sigh of relief as I sank lower into my seat, making myself comfortable. I reached into my backpack to pull out a notebook and a pen but, after a good five minutes of searching every single pocket, I realized that my mom had forgotten to put a pen with all of my school supplies.

I looked around me to see if there was anyone that I could perhaps borrow one from. The guy in front of me was asleep and the other guy beside said he didn't have any spares. That left me one option.. the blue haired boy beside me.

It's not that anything is wrong with him, he just seems pretty intimidating, the kind of guy that could knock you out with just one punch. I had no choice, I needed to take down these notes so I wouldn't fall behind.

Finally gathering up the courage to ask for a pen, I turn in my seat towards him. " Hey um, d-" and just like that I was cut short by an alarm going off.

" Alright kids, fire drill! Everyone single file, no running!" Mrs. Rodriguez instructed. Sighing, I pushed up from my seat and began to follow the line out the door. As we made our way outside, I felt a tap on my shoulder. As I turned around, I gasped at who I saw behind me.. the blue haired boy from class.

" Hey man, what were you trying to say to me in class?" He questioned me. Wow, I thought, his voice fits him but I think I expected it to be a bit deeper that that. "Helloooooo," he said while waiving a hand in front of my face. Shoot, I spaced out again.

"Sorry I blanked out for a bit there. I was going to ask you for a pen because, as it turns out, I totally forgot one." I replied, trying my best not to sound nervous.

Our conversation was cut short when we heard our teachers voice.

"Alright class, quiet down so I can take attendance!" she said.

She took attendance and about twenty-five minutes later, we got cleared to go back inside the building. Seeing as the drill took so long, it was already time to head over to fourth period.

When we got back into the classroom I headed over to my desk and pulled out my schedule to see what I had next. Chemistry room H215 with Mr. Turner.

I put my stuff back into my bag and began out the door to my next class. Trying to walk through these halls was horrible; they were so packed and I wasn't able to process anything that was going on. Before I knew it, the halls were slowly draining and the bell had rung which meant that I was now late for class. It took me another three minutes before I was able to find the classroom.

I opened the door to the class, and just like before, everyone turned to look at me. I walked over to the teacher and explained why I was late, she said it wasn't a problem but that I should try harder to be on time next class. She then informed me that today we would be doing a lab which meant that I would have to partner up with someone.

"Please go take a seat next to Josh," she said to me. "Josh raise your hand," she instructed. I turned to see who I would be partnered with and, once again, gasped when I saw it was the same blue haired boy from earlier. At least I can finally put a name to this blue haired mystery boy.

I walked over to the lab table and kept my eyes glued to the floor the entire time; I was too scared to look up, I could feel his stares burning a hole right through me. I pulled up a seat next to him and decided to formally introduce myself to get it out of the way.
