Frame of Mind

I Remember...

It happened so quickly, but even as a small child I still remember to much.I still remember my people screaming as they flee for their lives from Tachyon, Most of them dying in the process.I remember looking over my fathers shoulder. Seeing my mother run next to him and another lombax, I would later know him as Sandor.I remember my mothers face. She's crying, tears flowing down her face. I can tell she's terrified of what will happen next, but every time our eyes meet, she puts on a brave face for me, showing no fear.I look up to see a lombax cruiser crash to the surface of fastoon with a load explosion. The damage is so bad no one could of survived the impact.The lombax's are still screaming all around me, I want it to stop, I want to go back home, to my bed. I just want this nightmare to end. It doesn't. Then all of a sudden a drophyd is behind us, ready to shoot, but my farther is too quick, and shoots him, but he wasn't quick enough. Before I knew it, my mother was on the ground, she wasn't moving. My farther drops me and Jumps to the ground trying to stop the blood even though he knows his too late. He begins to cry. I begin to shake her, pleading for her to wake up but it doesn't work. Sandor taps my farther on the shoulder while picking me up. He tells him that we need to get out of there. As my Farther gets up, he leans over my mothers lifeless body and whispers something to her. I don't know what it was but it was enough to make Sandor cry.We run through the debris dodging bullet as they just past our heads. I hide my head in Sandor's shoulder, tears flowing down my fluffy face. I want to scream but nothing comes out of my tiny mouth.I lift me head to a piercing, annoying laugh behind me. I look up to see a small cragmite on a robotic thrown, raising his hand as he dose so. His ugly face makes me so angry I want to take him down myself.

As we run away from the runt, I jump over Sandor's shoulder and I run straight for Tachyon, Adeline pumping through my body as I do so. I hear my farther and Sandor plead for me to stop, I can hear them running towards me.

I see tachyon turn his over-sized head look at me, a smile comes on to his face. I stop in front of him,  passionate to get rid of him. But instead of fleeing like I thought he would, He begins to laugh. I give him a death glare and I raise my fits.

"I'm going to defeat you if its the last thing I do" I say with my high pitched voice. He laughs again and leans in so we're only a inch apart for each other. I don't flinch.
His grin becomes even bigger "and how will you do that child, when you dead?" My face lights up to the challenge, "you have no idea what I'm capable of" after saying my speech I spit in his face. He leans up and nods at one of the drophyd. He lifts his gun at my head, but before he can pull the trigger my farther shoots him down.
He keeps fighting as the drophyd's keep coming. Sandor picks me up and helps my farther, until the drophyd's become to many. My farther tells Sandor to get to a ship and get out of here. Sandor nods as he understands that he must leave his friend in order for me and him to survive. Sandor then runs, tears flowing down his face. I look behind and see my farther still fight, but still managed to give me reassuring smile, like everything is going to be ok. That was the last time I saw him.
Sandor finally stops when he finds a ship. He throws off the rocks and gets the ship going. We both hop in, then everything goes black.

I wake up from my nightmare.
