Kise's secret *special chapter*

Back when (F/n) was still at the Kaijo compound, Kanagawa. A day after they arrived.

*3rd Person P.O.V.*
" Hey, (f/n)-cchi, " The blond-haired yokai asked the black-haired beauty, staring at her.
" Yes, Ryo-kun? " She hummed swinging her legs.
Both of them were currently sitting at the veranda, spending their afternoon while talking to each other.
" How come you knew about me being a yokai? " The male asked, obviously curious of how his cousin managed to discover his 'ultimate' secret.
" I told you, I knew about the fact you being a yokai since we were six. " She nonchlantly replied, staring down at the fish pond under her feet.
" Not 'when'-ssu! I'm asking you of how did you discover me being a yokai! " He frowned, his eyebrows furrowed together.
" You sure you wanna know? Cause' it's rather hilarious of how I found out about it. " The girl snickered, the memory of how she found out that her cousin was a yokai.
" I'm absolutely sure-ssu! I'm prepared for anything ssu! " He energetically replied, clenching his fists and raise it to the air.
" It all began when I was visiting you in uncle's mansion.... "

*flashback starts*
(F/n) had just arrived at her uncle's mansion, and while her parents were busy with greetings, she quickly snuck out of the scene and went to the garden to find her cousin, Kise Ryota.
As she was passing through the halls, she kept an eye for the little blonde boy, quietly calling his name.
" Ryo-kun, Ryo-kun! Where are you? " The girl kept her voice low, not wanting to be discovered and spend her time with her " totally-spoiled " cousins.

Failing to find Kise in the halls, (F/n) immediately went to the garden, knowing the habits of the little boy, who likes to spend most of his time being alone.
She ran towards the garden, in hopes of finding her cousin.
" Ryo-kun!! It's (F/n)!! I'm here to play with you!!! " The girl shouted, and expected Kise to answer her.

Before (F/n) had arrived, Kise was sulking in the garden, he had a bad mood after being scolded and bullied by his foster father and siblings. At the beginning, he went there to let his anger and frustration out, but ended up crying instead.
" Life is so mean to me-ssu.. I'd rather run away and go with (F/n)-cchi... " He wailed, nobody in particular listening to him.
Though, he suddenly heard rustling in the bushes, and became alerted. He unconsciously popped out a pair of dog ears on top of his head. Then, with caution, Kise slowly approached the bush, still not aware of his current state. When he parted the bush it revealed a small brown fox, cowering in fear.
" Hello, " Kise extended his right hand in front of the shivering small fox.

The small creature took a few steps backwards, glaring at the boy. But instead of drawing his hand back, he carressed the fox's fur and picked it up into his arms, lightheartedly laughing.
" It's fine, you can trust me. I'm not going to hurt you, " He smiled, as he felt the the fox relaxed in his hands.
" Little fox, you have bruises on your body.. Did someone hurt you? " The boy scanned the fox's body, seeing some bruises, topped with its hind leg injured.
It whined and nodded its head.
" Ryo-kun!! It's (F/n)!! I'm here to play with you!! " he suddenly flinched at the voice of his cousin.
' Ugh, of all times, why now?! (F/n)-cchi, this is a really bad timing! ' Kise thought, letting the fox hide into the bush behind him.
Kise was panicking, still not realizing that he had a pair of dog ears on top of his head. Soon, he found an idea to surprise the young girl by hiding into a bush.

She kept calling his name, but still had no luck in finding him. As (F/n) was walking around the garden, she noticed a pair of dog ears portruding out from a bush. She was immediately alerted and walked closer to the pair of ears.
' Are those dog ears?!! So fluffy! I want to touch them!! ' She inwardly squealed as she extended her hands to touch the pair of dog ears.
But then, she stopped in the middle, realizing something.
' Wait.. What if it's not a dog that's hiding behind this bush? Or could it possibly be a yokai? What should I do? I'm still unable to exorcise yokai... Should I use one of Shin-chan's paper charms? ' She asked herself, taking out a paper charm.
But she couldn't bring herself to do it, she felt guilty of harming a yokai that didn't even harm her. She then threw the paper aside and touched the ears.
" Waah.. So soft... " She giggled and kept touching them, until she heard a wailing cry.
" Ouch! It hurts-ssu!! " A familiar voice wailed loudly.
" Ryo-kun!! Where are you?! " (F/n), who had forgotten her entire purpose of searching for the blonde kid, started searching in frantic for her cousin.
" I'm right here-ssu! " Her back was suddenly hit by another.
Then, both of them turned around. And to Kise's surprise, she pointed towards his head.
" Hm? What is it, (F/n)-cchi? " The boy cheerfully asked.
" E-Ears.. " She stuttered.
" Ears? On my head? That's impossib-aaahhhhh!!! " He shouted as he felt them on his head.
In reflex, she joined him in screaming together.
" Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! " She screamed.
Just then, (F/n) unconsciously made a handsign, and made the paper charm blow up.
The two children fainted, and afterwards the servants managed to find them, lying unconscious on the ground.
*Flashback ends*

" And then.. When I woke up the next day, I still remembered the whole event, but you didn't. When I asked you about dog ears, you didn't have any clue about it, so I assumed that you forgot about me seeing a pair of dog ears on top of your head, which proved to be true. " The girl concluded.
" Ohh!! Now I remember about it-ssu! But you know, uncle and father were surprised when they saw us knocked out in bed-ssu! " Kise cheerfully exclaimed.
" Well, memories are fun, aren't they? Now, Kise, shouldn't you be practicing, huh??!! " The newly-arrived Kasamatsu suddenly kicked Kise into the fish pond.
" Kasamatsu-san!! " (F/n) grinned.
" W-What i-is it? " He stuttered.
" Nice kick, " She gave him a thumbs up.
" Thanks. " He smirked.
" That's mean-ssu!! " The blonde yokai fake-cried as he rose up from the pond.
" Kise. You better get your butt to the dojo in 10 seconds or I'll tripple your training. " Kasamatsu glared at Kise as he stomped towards the dojo.
" Coming!! " The blond boy ahouted.
" Well, Ryo-kun, you better get going, " (F/n) stood up, looking down at her cousin, drenched in water.
" What about you, (F/n)-cchi? " Kise questioned the black-haired princess.
" Oh, me? I'll be cooking dinner for everyone. So, see you later, " She was stopped by her tall cousin, and her eyes widen when he pressed a kiss on her forehead.
" Ryo-kun... Thanks, but please don't make fun of me.. Now, go to the dojo, and see you later! " She dashed towards the kitchen while waving goodbye to him.
" I'm not teasing you, (F/n)-cchi... I really love you... And that's my biggest secret.. even bigger than my real identity. " He whispered, as his superior was about to shout at him again.
