*Your P.O.V.*

I woke up in bed earlier than usual. After what Father had told me yesterday, I couldn't sleep well last night. I knew that this was bound to happen to me someday, but now that I really am bethrothed to somebody, there is a small corner of my mind saying that this is too soon.

' Today might be a good day to stroll to town. ' I thought as I got out of bed and got ready.

Whenever I go out to town, I always disguise myself as a boy, so that I could see the world outside of the Ichijo Household. I would wear a simple kimono for men, and pants under it, and tie my hair up, so that I won't look like a girl.

As I was about to leave the compoud, I was greeted by a loud, shrill voice.
' Going out again, (f/n)-chan? " A familiar voice called out to me.
" Yes, Takao-san. Today's weather is perfect for a stroll to town. " I nod to acknowledge his presence.

The man standing behind me is Takao Kazunari, my childhood friend. Though, I'm not so sure what to call him, since he is a spirit. He was a loyal retainer to my family, but died to during a feud against another family a year before I was born. At that time, he was sixteen years old, and has been lingering around the house ever since. I was the only one to notice him(and befriend him as well at that point), among my family members, because at that time I hadn't known that I had powers to see supernatural beings. And now, he sticks to me like glue, and follows me wherever I go.

"(f/n)-chaaan! How many times do I have to tell you to call me by my first name? When you were younger, you wouldn't hesitate to call me "Kazu-chan!" ! The younger you were so much cuter than the you nowadays, " He sighed in disappoinment.
" Sorry, Kazu-san. " I replied.
" Now that's much-"
" See you later, I'll be going now, " I cut him short on his word.
" Wait! (f/n)-chan! " Kazu-san called out to me as I sprinted as fast as I could.

* Later on, in the city*
" Good day there, Shigeru-kun! " An elderly man greeted me.
" You too, sir, " I slightly bowed towards the man.
Shigeru, that's what people call me in town. Because I had to hide my real identity, I came up with " Oikawa Shigeru" as my disguise name. I usually help them healing people's sickness with one of my natural gifts, healing magic, and considered as a doctor by local people. That's why I'm rather famous in the capital city, Heian-kyo.

" KYAAA! IT'S SHIGERU-SAMA! " Multiple voices shouted at the same time as a bunch of running girls approached me.
' Oh, I forgot.. This happens every time I go to town.. ' I mentally sighed, and put a smile on my face.
" Good morning, Shigeru-sama! " A girl energetically greeted me.
" Good morning. " I replied.
" Have you eaten any breakfast? " Another girl asked.
" Yes, thank you very much for asking. " I said.
I never knew why girls kept chasing me around. I'm not like other guys, big and buff, nor am I a social person. I just wonder what these girls think when they see me.
For a while, the capital girls kept sorrounding me, not letting me move even an inch. I was kept occupied by their presence, until something gained my attention.

Two people, one with light blue hair and the other with maroon-red hair.

My eyes were captivated by their rare hair color, and finally, I managed to break myself out of the crowd sorrounding me.
" Shigeru-sama! Where are you going?! " A girl frantically shouted.
" My apologies, I just remembered that I had an appointment today. See you all soon, " I flashed a smile as I left.

I kept chasing after the pair. And, as I continued to chase them, I heard them engage in a conversation.
" Uwahhhh!!! Kuroko! Since when were you there?! " The man with the taller height jumped out of surprise.
" I was here the whole time, Kagami-kun. You were the one who didn't notice me. " The shorter man replied.
" I know that's one of your abilities, but don't go scaring people wherever you go! " The red-haired retorted.
" My apologies. But, you should've gotten used to that... It's been quite a while since you and I met, Kagami-kun." The blue-haired monotonously deadpanned.

As they were walking, I noticed that people didn't even pay attention to them, despite the tall-statured man's loud voice. Could this mean....?
"Hey, wait! " I grabbed the blue-haired man's shoulder.
