CHAPTER 26 - UNEDITED

"You can insult me as much as you want but please don't insult my love for you. It is more important than my life"

Michael said the above words in CHAPTER-10 to Jenny. I think it means he loves her.

There is a proverb famous among boys, "Girls have good memory in many things but they have poor memory in love. You have to keep on reminding them."

I always thought it was not true. Now I am doubting it after seeing the comments in the last chapter after Michael said, I love you.

Does this mean you have poor memory or do you accept only those three words?

After seeing all the votes you gave on last chapter, I started writing the next chapter. I finished it in three hours and here I am updating.

The book of this update is Running away by  AkankshaSharma3. It is different than all of her books even. Have a look at the book. I am really enjoying it.

Jenny was feeling weak for two days. She understood the care and affection of Michael. The way Michael rubs his palm on her forehead, light kisses on forehead and way he tucks the blanket around her were comforting her.

She wanted it even.

She used to search her mother when she is sick but she was happy with Michael. She felt safe sleeping near him.

She forget every little piece of anger she had on him due to his lie.

When she opened her eyes the third day, she saw Michael's mom near her.

"Are you okay Jenny? I wanted to wake you up but I thought you need sleep. Did you sleep well?"

She nodded her head and searched Michael. I am not searching my mom. I am searching him. Will I forget mom and start to live like this with him?

Where is he now? He knows I wake up normally at this time?

Why didn't he stay by my bed side?

"Are you searching Michael? He went to office as he had an immediate work to do."

Michael's mom noticed the hurt in her eyes and said, "He had to meet some delegates from Japan. He couldn't miss those meetings. He will come fast. I will send a message to him. Don't worry. Do you need anything else?"

Jenny hugged her and kept her head in her mother in law's lap and hugged her.

Stupid meeting! Is it important than me?

He knows that I need him now but still that idiot went to office.

I am not going to let him inside the room. Let him stay in office with the delegates.

After half an hour, Michael came home. He went to his room directly. Jenny couldn't stop the smile which came to her face hearing his voice even when she was angry.

He stood near the door and watched his wife and his mother.

He said, "How are you now Jenny? I was scared myself as you were very weak."

"I am okay now. I am just having cold now." Why is he not sitting beside me? Why is he standing near the door itself?

Why is he not rubbing my forehead? He always does that.
