Am I Really Evie Way?

Back Together

Life moves on pretty quickly - before I knew it Frank's tour was over and he had come back down to Deal. I had spent most of my time with the guys or with Sami and Toni, but that won't last. We'll soon be going back to America and
I'll never see them again.

"Evie!"
I roll over in bed and curl up tighter. I recognise the voice but I really, really don't wanna get up. This is my bed. My home.
"Evie!"
"Damn, she is gonna be staying there forever."
I frown and then jump out of bed, flinging myself at whoever was there.
"Uncle Mikey!" I squeal, squeezing the man even tighter. "You're here!"
Mikey chuckles and wraps his arms around me too. "Good to see you, E. But your Dad is here too."
I look up at him. "Really?"
Mikey looks over to the other side of the room where Gerard stands. He's smirking at his younger brother before he's engulfed by an Evie hug.
Everyone loves these.
"Hey, Evie. How's England been?" Gerard asks as he squirms away. Well tries to.
"Its been great! You don't know how much I've missed English chocolate and sweets. Way much better than American."
"Really?" Mikey and Gerard both ask.
"Wait.... you've never had Galaxy chocolate? Or Lindt? Or even Cadburys!?"
"Um.... no. We've never done that kind of thing even when we were on tour here." Mikey says.
I shake my head then grin. "Well guess what? I'm taking you hostage and forcing them all down your throats."

"Happy birthday," Gerard says to me that night. I look over at him, the corners of my mouth turned up.
"My birthday is tomorrow though." I point out.
"But its midnight. So happy birthday."
We're in the kitchen where I was reading a book. Gerard had a sketchpad open and a pencil poised in his hand, and a huge smile on his face.
"Wait here." He says quickly before darting out into the hallway. He returns seconds later holding a parcel wrapped it silver wrapping paper.
"This is one present. The others are for later naturally." He says, snapping a piece of Cadburys chocolate off the bar and popping it into his mouth.
I raise an eyebrow at him before I unwrap the paper. It falls off and hits the floor, revealing a dark covered sketchbook with a silver rose on the cover.
"Open it," Gerard says.
I do as he says and my eyes widen at the simple drawings that are the border to a bigger sketch of a woman. There was something about her that draws you in, maybe her beauitful simplicity or maybe even the way the woman was drawn, I don't know. Yet its like I've seen her before.
I read the few sentences below the drawing and smile, lips twisting up uncontrollably.

'Evie -
Life goes on and bad things happen to good people. You're a good person. You'll fight for what you believe in, I never want anything bad to happen to you.
-Dad'

"Wow.... thanks, dad. But.... who is the woman?"
"Your mother," Gerard says after a few seconds. "Amelia, or my lil Mia as I used to call her. It was one of those things we'd do, y'know? Like your friends call you E. It was like that.... but, yet, so much more. It was like a lifeline at times. It was something I would always look forward to after a shit day," Gerard sighs. "And now I never can look forward to it. My lil Mia is gone."
I swallowed around the lump in my throat. "Dad...."
"No, no, its okay. Lindsey's in my life. I'm.... happy."
"Are you sure?" I ask, clutching my new sketchbook to my chest as I watch Gerard run a hand through his black hair.
"Yeah.... just.... I don't know, its just thoughts. Nothing else."
"Okay, but whatever does happen you know everyone will be there for you."
"I know, now bed. I don't want you tired as hell, okay?" Gerard says, before going to bed himself.

Hey so that was the next chapter!! Idk how much there'll be left, but I did have a thought.

What about a seperate book about what Sami and Toni were up to when Evie was in America? Idk but I want your thoughts on it.
