Lily rushed over immediately, no questions asked. When she arrived she was panting as if she had ran the entire way there. She wore a pair of tight workout pants and a sports bra along with nikes, looking as if she had just climbed out of a Lulu lemon catalog.

"I AM HERE, still queer, but here." She called out as she let herself into my apartment. "What's the problem?"

"I ran into Danny on the elevator and realized I needed to talk to someone." I mumbled from the couch.

"Lucy! Oh my god." Lily squealed. I jumped up from my seat at her sudden (but not unusual) outburst.

"What? What's wrong?"

"You had sex." She stated. I shot her the biggest confused look, wondering how she could have possibly known.

"How... What..?"

"Best friends intuition. And you're glowing. Also, mainly because you winced when you sat down. TELL ME EVERYTHING." She suddenly flew across the room, landing onto the couch besides me. "Was it good? Was he gentle with you? Do I need to kill him?"

"I don't want to talk about my sex life, Lily." I moaned in annoyance. "I need to move out. I can't live in this building anymore."

"Just stay at Carson's if you're worried about seeing Danny." She suggested. "He won't mind, especially if you're there to ride him all-"

"lily!" I threw a throw pillow at her. Obviously they were meant to be thrown at people.

"Okay, okay. Sorry. I'm just so excited my little girl is all grown up. I'm happy for you two. Carson's really needed someone to help him get through all of the darkness he feels."

"I accidentally got mad at a waitress and told her to stop flirting with my boyfriend. He heard."

"What did he say?"

"He called me his girlfriend." I blushed as I said that last part as lily let out the most girlish squeal.

"Shipping Larson forever." She smirked. She quickly pulled out her phone and typed something into it quickly. "I told lover boy congrats on sinking his anchor in-"

"LILY STOP."

The next few weeks went by magically. I spent most of my time looking for a new apartment that was close to all of my friends and the time that wasn't spent apartment hunting was spent with my friends. I would spend the night at Carson's or he would spend the night at mine. Soon enough we ended up telling our parents.

My moms reaction was weird. On one hand, she had never liked Carson due to how he dressed and behaved, but on the other hand he was the son of her number one business partner so I knew she saw the relationship as beneficial for her work. The knightlys invited us over for dinner at the restaurant I had first met Carson at.

I wore a black lace collared dress and a pair of nude laced up booties along with a Chanel crossbody and chandelier earrings. I left my hair clipped up into an elegant up do and left my makeup more on the natural side. The knightlys had arrived before us and were all seated at the table when we joined them.

"Marjorie, Lucy! You ladies look absolutely lovely." Mr Knightly stood from the table as we approached. My eyes immediately darted to Carson, looking as handsome as ever as he smirked at me from his seat.

"Always a pleasure." My mother spoke in her fake voice that I despised so much.

The dinner went on perfectly fine, my mother ignored Carson's existence but that was probably in everyone's best interest. Carson and I stuck around for about thirty minutes before we decided to ditch the dinner out of boredom and having finished our food early. After we parted from our parents I ended up heading home with Carson.
