Warning:

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

So, a lot has happened over the past sixteen chapters; Life, death, love, fear, fight, and etcetera (etc. For all you anti-grammar people.) So, what's happening, you ask? A lot is the answer. The characters have changed and relationships have blossomed. Warning: Spoilers of the future!

Let's start with Jack. It takes half of the time I write the chapter to just spell his name. I write it on the bus so there's tons of bumps. And auto-correct think his name is the car-jack kind of jack (or Jack) and not the name. But onto the character himself. Jack was supposed to be one of those quiet, keep to himself person. Kind of the nerdy T.V. watcher. But as you saw in the last chapter, he has really changed from what I imagined. He's now caring, but at the same time ruthless and tough. Ben's death and the relationship with Mel were the turning points. So, will the relationship last? That is a for sure YES! It may get bumpy, but it will last. I've started on a third book after the Capitol as I commented on the last chapter. They get married by someone we met very fast. He's actually a reference to something I also hinted at in chapter 2 or 3 of the first book. So, moving on.

Mel has always been what she is now. Sweet and occasionally the voice of reason (Like most women tend to be.)

She and Jack are most definitely an item. Jack would do anything for her, and she just acts as the water if the flames grow too high. Not too much to say, so I'll move on to Matt.

Matt, Matt, Matt... Where do I start? He was supposed to be with Abby who from the start was a eventual kill-off character. So he's Jacks best friend. He's the quiet one but when he has something to say he doesn't hold back. So then there's Nick...

"Is Nick still alive?" I ask myself this all the time. He too was supposed to be a kill-off character, but I decided why not keep him. I like him. Cocky but serious and a planner. He ended up being someone who will have a relationship. But with who? Well, look. We have Jack and Mel, Matt's alone, so there's Nick and who? That's right, Kate.

Sometimes I beat myself up and ask "Why did I add this group. They're such a pain in a scene that focuses on the main characters(Which is almost all of them.) But I need Kate to keep Nick and the others alive, which reminds me of two brothers.

If you even remember them (because I just did.), Alex and Dan are most likely dead. They're not coming back. So I forgot about adding their death scenes, so like most of the group, they were killed in the battle leading up to this book.

So, will the humans win. As you could guess, of course. A quote comes to my mind. It's a paraphrase, but "The Jesters are out of the throne, the frog is dead, and the queen has regained the throne.(Long live the queen.)" Well, that's really it. Any questions for me (Not about my personal info) goes into the comments. Look for more and read on.
