my eyes locked with a bright pair of golden eye, but only for a second as i jumped up and ran, i ran straight out of the room. i didn't look back till i reached the back field where i sat against a big oak tree.as you can tell i didn't run into his arms like all those sappy love stories. i cant afford to lose my friends, i need to save them and be free...

i sat staring at the sky wondering what i would do

Rin Carter POV

what the hell?! I've been searching the school for days trying to figure out that enticing smell and when i finally found her, the shorter the average girl with long wavy dark violet hair that reached mid way down her back, her eyes were bright silver against her clear skin. i was shocked, my mother told me stories of when you find you mate and you know what shes right..except for the part where my mate runs out of the lunch room like someone set her on fire.

so i repeat what the hell?

i looked at the door she had just ran out of, contemplating following her but my friend chad snapped me out of my trance with the door

'' dude what the hell was the?'' he said laughing '' that hot chick ran like she was being chased by zombies

you see chad has a fascination with zombies at the moment, he had blonde messed up hair and greeny brown eyes, hes a tall guy and works out a bit so there are some sort of muscle.

'' i... i think she is my mate..'' i said slowly, chads eyes widened and it was now his turn to look at the door in wonderment.

''then go get her, you bumbling idiot!" chad yelled, causing people to stare. god -.-

i sighed and got up, hes right, so i walked towards the door my wolf was running circles in my head, i was worried, what if she didn't like me or rejected me, wow i sounded like a girl... im a soon to be alpha of the silverpine pack i should not be scared the my mate would reject me. i followed her intoxicating sent till i saw her sitting against the old oak tree staring at the sky, she was beautiful, she really is, she had not noticed me yet or she was ignoring me either way i get to stare at her.

'' would you stop that'' she snapped, oh wow, '' i cant afford to have one'' her voice was small now, she sounded so vulnerable, like she would break if you touched her, just like glass breaks when it gets dropped on the ground.

'' what are you talking about?'' i asked softly, her head was faced away from me, i could tell she was upset. she shook her head at me not wanting to speak. i walked over and sat next to her, i didn't touch her i just sat there, it wasn't awkward though it wasnt peaceful, the birs were chirping and there was a slight breeze that made my mates hair move.

there was a loud bang and my head snapped up and i saw an angry looking guy heading straight towards us, his face was nothing like my mates yet he claimed they were twins... how weird.

'' Aluance we are leaving now!" he roared at her, no one can talk to my mate like that,

''hey-'' i started but stopped when Aluance got up swiftly not looking in my direction. i frowned, the guy grabbed her upper arm and pulled her along, i growled instantly, they both flinched but then kept walking.

i sighed what the hell is going on?

i was in the car, my head was muddled and just to help it trey was raging at me

''how could you be so stupid!.... hes an alpha..... dads going to be pissed!'' trey went on and on and on

what will happen to Lily and Dane when boss finds out ? oh god
