I looked around at my brilliant work.
A tent.
The tent was camouflaged into the environment pretty well, and I glanced at our little clearing.
Three tents were set up. The one for Adira and Dylan, one for Kay and Abby, and one for me.
Benefits of being the only male left on this mission.
I crawled into my tent, leaving the women to guard for now, and I quickly hopped into my sleeping bag, placing my pistol in my waistband and setting my rifle besides me. My bag was fully packed with everything that I brought, and was slung over my shoulder. Perfect for a quick escape.
I sighed and closed my eyes, falling into a dreamless sleep.

I snapped awake a few hours later, rubbing my eyes. The ground wasn't comfortable.
I heard the crackling of a small fire outside and the hushed tones of Adira and Abby - first shift guards.
I opened the little zipper entrance to my tent, and poked my head outside, grinning at them sleepily.
"Hey." I said, and they jumped.
"Hey Nielsen." Abby replied, and Adira merely nodded at my presence
Adira looked at the woods suspiciously, as if something deadly could burst out of the woods any moment.
Of course, something could.
"We need to move." She muttered, taking down her own tent quickly. "We need to finish this quickly."
Then we heard noises to our left, and we scrambled to get the fire out.
While Adira and Abby hurried to put the fire out, I ran into Kay's tent and jolted her awake, handing her a gun. Dylan was already up.
"Damn, Boreas won't be happy." A voice sighed and another one grunted in agreement.
"They won't be able to hide from Scorpion for long. The assassins will get them." The second voice said.
"Damn right they will. Otherwise Boreas will kill all of us." the first person muttered and sighed, turning away, and I took my chance.
Surging upwards silently, I aimed my pistol and shot the trailing man in the head, and the other one snapped back around in alarm, hearing his friend hit the deck.
"Men! We have them." He shouted and I shot him in the head a few times, watching as his body hit the ground as well, but the damage was done.
I watched as cars swerved around us, and I cursed, climbing a tree quickly, with my friends climbing other trees we watched as the cars emptied and they searched our previous camp quickly, barking orders to each other.
I signalled over to my friends, but I stopped dead in my tracks as helicopters swerved around us as well, boxing us in.
I swung my rifle to my right hand, preparing my plan.
I then sighed.
Damn. Planning is not my strong suit. I thought and jumped off the tree, spraying the men below with rifle fire.
And then the forest burst into bullets

Adira, Kay, Abby, and Dylan leapt out of their hiding spots, shooting randomly, and the men on the forest (the alive ones) were shooting back. The helicopters evidently got word that they had found us, and fired machine guns down into the forest.
