Chapter 3 : Felt Guilty

Class started a few minutes ago and I've been tossing the same rumpled paper for the longest.

I felt so disturbed and disgusted of myself because of the Ban and Veronica situation. They didn't deserve how I treated them.

I was paranoid and shocked, knowing one of my best friends is talking to my mortal enemy. I couldn't just force her to stay away from him and I think they are meant for each other, like literally. Since all the words Ban told me was still in my head...

"Sasha, not cool. It's been so long since I had a good time and you just ruin it because of a while ago? That's some deep shit, Smith."

The way he told me those words seems to me like he really wanted to spend time with her. I want to apologize and maybe become friends with the guy?

Kath and Janna were talking by the hall. I came up to them as soon as possible. As I comfort them, they looked surprise that I turned up to them.

"Wait Sasha, slow down. I couldn't get a thing." Kath told me.

"Same here." Janna agreed.

"Well... you see, Veronica and Ban are mad at me." I explained.

"I understand Veronica, but since when did you care about Ban?" Janna smirked.

"Since the time he made me feel guilt and—I JUST FELT BAD!" I explain. "Guys the words that he told me are stuck in my head." I sighed.

"What did he say anyways?" Kath asked.

"Flashback!!!!" Janna begged.

I went back to the campus and saw Veronica and Ban talking to each other. My mortal enemy talking to one of my best friends and they are giggling, having fun.

"Vero, why are you talking to him?" I asked.

"What's not to talk about?" he replied.

"Sasha, he is really nice." she smiled.

"Get the hell out of here Ban!" I yelled. "And Vero, stop being stupid enough that you can't see that he is playing with you!"

"You think that I'm that stupid? THAT I CAN'T MAKE MY OWN DECISIONS?! IF THIS IS ABOUT YOU AND BAN THEN WHY PUT ME INTO YOUR FIGHT?!" she yelled. "Some friend you are." she mumbled, wiping her tears.

"Sasha, not cool. It's been so long since I had a good time and you just ruin it because of a while ago? That's some deep shit, Smith." he passed through my direction and dumped my shoulder.

"And that was pretty much what happened earlier." I mumbled.

"Well..." Kath paused.

"Is it that bad?" I asked. They coincidentally nodded, synchronize. "What will I tell Vero then?" I asked. "Like... Vero please forgive me?"

"Yes, but that's not enough." Janna pointed out.

"Oh how about, Vero, I'm sorry but I just hate Ban so much?" I asked.

"Nope, because she'll think badly and might hate Ban too." Kath disagreed.

"Wait, what's the truth anyways?" Janna asked.

"It's just—I was just paranoid and after my talk with Evan about Britney—I was a little down since he mentioned Adriel, so when I saw a Vero and Ban—I couldn't help but freak out." I explained.

"That!" Janna smiled.

"That what?" Sasha asked.

"Janna, that's brilliant. Sasha, tell Roni the truth!" Kath jumped around.

"Oh my gosh, thanks guys! I'm so blessed with friends like you, now I got to go. I need some explaining to do." I bid them goodbye with a slightly small smile on my face, showing my appreciation.

I was rooming the whole entire school to find Veronica. She was in front of class, talking to some of her friends.

"The math test was hard and—Girls, I'll be there in a sec. I have to talk to someone." she saw me for sure. "Sasha, what brings you here? Aren't you going to judge my other friends as well?" she crossing her arms.

"Veronica, I'm sorry." I apologize.

"You don't have to apologize from what happened earlier, what's done is done, I can't accept your apology, because you're not worth my time, Sasha." she walked away.

"Please it's about him." I know that she clearly knows who is him.

"What happened?" she asked.

"The reason why I acted that way to you earlier was because—I was just paranoid, after my talk with Evan about Britney—I was a little down since he mentioned Adriel, so when I saw you and Ban—I couldn't help but freak out." I explained.

Despite everything, Veronica pulled me into a hug and patted my back. "It's all going to be fine and I'm sorry, sash. For making you feel worst."

"It's not your fault, Vero, but can you do me a favor?" I asked. She nodded. "I want to apologize to Ban, but I don't know how." I explained.

"Just say it, he's not as bad as you think, Sash. He cares." she mentioned.

"And that's why I want to know him better," a smile forms.
