Chapter 5 Hospital

The next day I woke up feeling crappy and ew. I got up around 10:49. I was so tired last night from crying and fighting with Lexi and I just want to scream at her. I have feelings inside that are screaming to make the move to fricken kill her. I put on a tie-dye tee shirt with leggings and put my hair in a bun. I put on my Uggs grabbed my phone and some money to get Jess something. My mom drove me to cvs and I was looking for something really cute for her. I got a card for her saying get better soon! I wrote I love you Jess❤️ xoxo Katherine and I got her a small teddy bear that was hella cute. I then went to party city and got balloons. There where 2 baby blue, 2 pink, 3 red and 3 white. I called Sarah and said that I was going a little bit early and she said ok, she's still going around noon. I ended the call and my mom drove me to the hospital. We asked the room to Jessica Johnson. She was in room 206. My mom let me go after that. She said that I can stay for only 2 hours which is plenty of time. When I walked into her room and there was only cards there. She had the room all to herself and gets to watch anything she wants. " hey baby girl, how have you been?" I asked Jess. "I'm good. What's up with your bad self." Jess said. I giggled and pulled out the card and the bear. She immediately smiled and sat up. it took her  couple of seconds to read it. I brought out the balloons and she lit up. We hugged and we talked about what happened last night. she couldn't remember. all she remembers is that Lexi and I were fighting and that's when Meghan took me and dragged me out side. I don't remember what happened after that. I huffed and told her that Hunter ran to her. "he did?' "yeah he did." I just realized that she still needs to go on the date with Hunter.

We kept talking and talking about things. I was showing her the videos of us doing challenges. we were laughing so hard. We were then talking about kids in our school until Hunter walked in with red roses and a small box of something.. "hey jess, how are you hun."

Hunter said. "I'm ok." he gave her the roses. "oh my god Hunter their beautiful!" said jess. "just like my beautiful girlfriend." he said. he pulled out the box and gave it to jess. she opened it and it was a silver necklace. "I hope you like it." hunter said nervously. "its its its gorgeous!" jess said and hunter came over to hug her. I was thinking in my head, they haven't even been on their first date and he gave her a necklace. ya know what as long as she's happy, I'm happy. we were all talking about things until he said " hey Katherine, do you like Bryce." I saw Jess' eyes land on me. " uhh why..." I said to him nervously. " because we were talking about you, jess and Sarah." "why..." I said again. it seemed like he was trying to keep something. "oh I don't know it was nothing bad but all I was saying was how I like jess and stuff like that and also what happened with Lexi, Leah and Meghan." he said. " what did Mark and Bryce say." I said. I saw jess' eye go back and fourth back and fourth. "Mark said he likes you guys and thinks your all pretty but thinks... Sarah's hot." me and jess looked at each other and jess told him that Sarah thought he was cute. "well we should hook them up." hunter said. "and your still not telling me what Bryce said about us." I said "he said that you guys seemed chill." he said. "that's it." I said annoyed "uhhh no..., he told me not to tell you this but he likes you." he told me. I blushed so bad and jess could tell. "what else did he say!" jess said excitedly. "uh he said that you were really pretty and he didn't talk about anything else than you. it was getting annoying." he said. I smiled and looked away. I didn't know if I like him or not but when I heard that he likes me, my feelings blew in my face. "he also said you looked great yesterday if you know what I mean." hunter said. "Ok anything else he said I mean, there has to be." jess said. "he said that he thinks that he might ask you out." he said slowly. I looked at jess and she was smiling so bad and it looked like she was gonna bounce off the walls. " well can you tell us when." jess said. " i cant, i wasn't even supposed to tell you guys about last night." he said. "oh and we played fu*k, marry, kill." hunter said fast. " I'm going to get water anyone want some." i asked. "uhh no thanks." they both said. i walked out of the room so fast i don't even think i was walking. i walked around the hospital for a little while, trying to pull myself together. i looked at my phone and it was 12:45. i went back to the room and Hunter and Jess were talking about when shes gonna get out so they can go on their date. i told her that i was gonna go. "awww and leave me with this dork." she said while pointing to Hunter. "uh looks like someone is a salty sally." Hunter said. We giggled and i said that i love you to jess and gave her a hug. As i was just about to leave Hunter yelled "WAIT. what about my hug." he said with a pouty face. I hugged him and he puckerd (don't know how to spell) and i said that's Jess' job, smiled and walked out. my mom drove me home and i went in my room. i went on twitter and said "love my love bug! and tagged jess and then went on insta. Bryce posted a pic of him covering his face saying i just want her and only her😍. I smiled and went down stairs to get the pint of ice cream, and eat my feelings and let me tell you, there were a lot.
