First Meet

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her eyes are wide open. Eyeballs about to pop-out of shock, stunned by the figure smiling satisfactorily in front of her with their face just an inch away from each other, she shivered. Fingers started to freeze, cold creeping up all over her body. The only thing she felt warm are the tears that breams streaming down her cheeks, flowing through the contours of her neck down her chest. Her top’s almost soaked in tears. In just seconds, everything just ended.

“N…no.”

“Hehe~”

Her palms shaking, reaching for the other’s cheeks dirtied by dust and dirt from fighting, muddied by the tears that flows and dried on it. It was trembling, thumb sliding just below Haruna’s eyes with care. She didn't care if it felt like ice grazing through the other girl's face, forcing her lips to curve upwards and show her set of dimples which she has a good grasp how the other loves it so much.

"Idiot." She thought while struggling to keep calm. "I love you."

"I know." Haruna answered before throwing up blood. Who knows how much that was?

Yuko's gaze on Haruna is watery, unsteady eyes trying to converse the thoughts that was trapped inside her head. Words were barred by the shuddering of her lips. "I love you." She can't hold it any longer, the tears.

"You call that finishing everything off huh?" taunting words beneath a chuckle echoes from behind. "You were nothing."

"Everything..." she wiped her tears with her palms along with a contented look on Haruna. "...everything is over." she murmured. "Ne, Nyannyan."

Orbs shifts towards the blade that was struck through the tall girl's chest with gentle look. Lips tucked in before transforming it into a smile. Breathing in and keeping it inside her lungs for a while, her eyes closed and released the accumulated air slowly. Sight meets the guardian's beat gape.

--------- FLASHBACK ---------

The wind is calling me. I can feel it inviting me to stretch out my arms and fly. Standing at the edge of this rocky mountain makes my heart race not in a way of feeling fear but something more like an excitement which pushes my thoughts to step in closer to the very end of this rock, and try reaching for the sky.

But something caught my eye. I saw a figure standing on the other side of this mountain with both arms wide opened and head tilted up to the sky. Too far to tell if I know the person but enough to distinguish that she’s a woman. Her hair is long, flowing beautifully with the wind and of a little high in stature, somehow she’s kinda familiar.

I can feel my forehead cringe a frown getting this strange feeling that she wants to jump off that cliff. We are both standing on a dangerous spot but if she falls there, she’d be falling on rocks unlike me who’ll be caught and saved by the tender sea. Sight of her so relax standing there like submitting herself to God up above makes me feel uneasy, too uneasy. Geez~

Soon I found myself running through the trees heading to the other side, my feet dragging me hastily towards that lady who caught my eye even from a great distance. What a pace stopper. Just when I’m finally feeling the calling of the breeze!

Feeling my breathing getting heavier as distance became enough for me to tell who she is, my steps slows down. Yes, she really looks familiar. I don’t know her but I’ve seen her more than once, like she was always there where I was, maybe a coincidence or something. She doesn’t look like a stalker to me but definitely seen her at places I’m in.
