Counting Stars(Star Wars Rebels fanfiction)-Chapter 1

      I was walking around the plains of Lothal alone to Capital City. I was nearly broke and I needed money. As I was walking, I remembered the time when I wasn't alone. I had a friend just like me three years, but I got captured by imperials. I managed to escape, but I couldn't find him. We found each other when I was trying to get some food from a vendor, but the guy caught me and was pushing me around when Ezra came and managed to get me from the guy's grip. Since then we have been best friends because just like him, I lost my dad to the empire as well. I miss Ezra. He was my best and only friend that I managed to have, considering my past.

         I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't realize that I had reached Capital City until-OUCH!! I rubbed my head as I had ran into a wall of a building. I winced at the now forming bruise on my forehead. I sighed and walked around to see if anything would be worth doing for at least enough money for one piece of fruit. I walked on the ground and jumped on roofs when I saw something interesting. I bent down low to see a guy with brown hair in a short ponytail, a green jumper, a green arm armor on his right arm, and strangely a lightsaber attached to his belt. He was standing in the middle of the street while I looked more toward the right to see a girl in Mandalorian armor leaning against the wall. I watched as the guy walked over towards the girl and talked to her about something I couldn't hear. After they were done talking, they walked over to where imperial ships were stored with imperial guards surrounding them. If they are going to attack imperial ships, they've got to be crazy! But it does sound fun. I continue to watch then mess with the empire, and honestly, it's great! I watched as the Mandalorian girl sneaked over to a speeder with an imperial guard next to it, threw a bomb in it and left. A few seconds later the speeder blew up. I was so amazed that I didn't even notice the guy and the girl run to some crates until I heard shooting.

         I looked around to see the guy and girl shooting at imperials who were shooting at them. I then see a lasat run in and use an electrified bo staff to knock out stormtroopers. I gasp in amazement and then realize that these people needed help as more stormtroopers came from the alleyway. I reach for my blaster guns and look for the right place to jump. I then saw an opening where three stormtroopers were at and stepped back to get a running start. As I jumped I felt for a brief moment the wind in my hair before I landed on the ground and shot down the stormtroopers immediately. More came towards me and tried to shoot me down, but I dodged all their shots and either shot or knocked them out with my hands. I smiled at myself as I had successfully protected the random people behind crates when I felt someone push me to the ground just as a blaster shot passed over my head. I grunted as I landed on the hard ground and I look for the person responsible for pushing me when I saw the guy with the lightsaber above me and pull me up against the crate. "Kid, what are you doing?! You shouldn't be here!" The guy yelled at me. I huffed and said, "Well excuse me for trying to help save your lives when it looked like you were in trouble!" The Lasat came and said, "Well we appreciate the help, but this place isn't for people like you." "It isn't for people like you guys either but yet you're here." I retorted. The Mandalorian girl laughed and said, "She's got a point. I like this girl!" I smiled but frowned as I saw a stormtrooper go towards a TIE fighter.

         I quickly jumped over the crates and ran towards the stormtrooper, despite the protests of the guy, lasat, and the girl. I jumped on crates until I reached the top of the TIE fighter and the stormtrooper. As he was about to open the hatch, I pointed my guns at him and yelled, "I wouldn't do that if I were you!" He then pointed his gun and started shooting and of course, he missed as I grabbed him flipped him over me, but he landed on the TIE instead of the ground. We fought for five minutes before I flipped him over me and he finally landed on the ground, but not without him shooting at me and one of the shots managed to get my arm. I groaned my pain as I got off the TIE and landed on the ground. I kinda stumbled a bit, but I managed to regain my balance as soon as the guy, girl, and Lasat came towards me.

         The guy glared at me and said, "I don't know who you are, but I do know that what you did was extremely risky. You could've killed yourself!" I blushed in embarrassment but then I saw his face change into a smile, "However, you did help us and you have skill. How would you like to come with us so we can get your arm fixed?" I thought about it for a minute before nodding my head. As we walked, the girl came up to me and asked, "Where did you learn those moves?" I just shrugged and said, "When you've lived on the streets of Lothal for 4 years, you've got to have some way of protecting yourself." After that, I just followed them not saying a word. I then realized something and asked them, "Hey, I never got your names." The guy turned to me and smirked, "I'm Kanan. The Lasat is Zeb and she's Sabine. What about you?" "I'm Audrina Lusita." I said. After that, we just walked to wherever they were taking me.

Ezra's POV:

     I was in the Ghost with Hera helping her clean the ship instead of helping Zeb, Kanan, and Sabine get the supplies. I sighed in boredom as I was fixing the Phantom when I felt a jolt of electricity go through my body. I turned my body quickly to see Chopper standing there and doing what I think was laughing. I growled, "Why you bucket of bolts! You'll pay for that!" Chopper then started to roll away as I chased him down the halls. I was about to finally get him when i heard, "Hold it you two! What's going on?" I turned my head slightly to see Hera standing there with her hands on her hips. I pointed at Chopper and yelled, "I was fixing the Phantom like you told me to when Chopper here electrocuted me!" Hera then looked at Chopper with a cross look and said, "Chop...you know that we need to get the Phantom up and running so that we can do more missions successfully. Now go to the cockpit and fix the shields." Chopper started whining and grumbling, but Hera was taking none of it and said, "Go!" Chopper rolled away grumbling.

         I sighed in relief as he was out of sight and Hera walked up to me and asked, "Ezra, are you alright? You've been spacing out lately." "I'm fine. Just tired I guess." I replied. She just nodded, "Alright, go finish fixing the Phantom. I think Kanan, Zeb, and Sabine are coming back shortly." I nodded and walked away. Actually I lied to Hera. I'm not really tired, I've just been thinking about certain things, like my best friend three years ago. Her name was Audrina and she was the best! She was my very first friend I had, as I was hers. We kept each other company through the rough years on the streets on Lothal. Although, about a year ago she was kidnapped by the empire and I haven't seen her since. And actually today's the three year anniversary that we met and became friends, but I didn't want to worry the guys about it, it's not their problem. I walked to the Phantom and fixed the little bit that I had left when I heard voices. I walked through the halls as the voices got louder and louder until I heard, "Where did you find her?" That's Hera. Then I think Zeb said, "We were being shot at by stormtroopers when she jumped from the roof of a building and wiped them out. Then she chased after one that was going towards a TIE and wiped him out as well. Although she did get a shot to the arm." I couldn't take it anymore! I needed to find out who they're talking about. I turned the corner, only to meet with familiar blue eyes and long, curly, red hair in a ponytail that could only belong to one person. "Audrina?!" She looked as befuddled as I was, "Ezra?!"

Hey guys it's me, OceanEmily13! As you can see I have made a new fanfiction of Star Wars Rebels. Please tell me what you think about it so far and I'm so sorry I'm not updating on my other stories. I have a lot of honors classes in my 9th grade year, so I have a lot of homework. I just wanted to get this idea down and published so that I don't forget it. And I didn't forget about you lovelies, so don't worry. Also the picture on the top of Merida is what I imagine Audrina as. I wanted a red headed, animated person and found her. So I will try to update as much as I can. I promise, promise, promise!

Also I have a little question for you all to answer, and the official answer will come in the right chapter. Okay, here it is:

Audrina is related to the Star Wars Clone Wars series. How is she is related to it?

That's the question and I would absolutely love to see all of your guesses and theories. The answer will become more hinted as the story goes along, but the actual answer will be revealed at the end of a later chapter. Sorry to leave you hanging there, but I just love putting suspension in my stories now. I'll update as much as I can.
