Part 5:
Jan's POV continues:
Finally the doctor came out to let me know that she is awake and alert. That she was sick with some flu symptoms and her fever has come down substantially. Due to the medication, but That they want to keep her for a couple of days for observation. And that she wanted to see me.
Good, and I rush to her side. I enter the hospital room. I see Ms. Jessica sitting up in the bed.
"Wow I never really notice how pretty she is. What am I saying, she is Joshua's girlfriend. Now, I see why he loves her. She's beautiful, and she's so kind and sweet, she's witty, and she's all of the things above." My thoughts a in my mind.
I see Jan making his way to my bed side.
"How are you?" I asked concerningly.
"I'm better, Thank You....." She smiled.
"Yes Miss Jessica, you wanted to see me!" I say.
"Jan, you're still here?" She asked.
"Yes, Miss Jessica." I say softly.
"Well, I want to Thank you for staying with me. For taking me to the hospital. I appreciate all you have done for me. But I'll be fine from now on. So you can go back to the palace. Now, Joshua will be looking for you." She said calmly.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"Yes! Jan please go......" She replied
"Okay, I will go then, but if there is any thing, I mean any thing you need please, Ms. Jessica, don't hesitate to call me...." I bowed and I gave her her purse and house keys.
I don't want to go. But I have to go now. I wave as I leave her hospital room.
Jessica POV:
I begin to stir and I hear voices. I hear a strong male voice. I open my eyes to see a handsome doctor. I hear another voice, I turn to it is a nurse putting some thing in an I.V..
"What's going on!?" I say softly. The doctor looks down at me. He smiles and says.
"Hi my name is Dr. Kane. And I will be your doctor. I will also be your doctor for your stay in the hospital." He says calmly.
"My stay in what?" I say in confusion.
"Yes your in the hospital." He replied.
"Okay I'm in the hospital? For how long?" I asked.
"You have been here for about 3 hours." The nurse said.
"What's wrong with me?" I questioned.
"It looks like the flu and your exhausted, and anemic too." Dr. Kane replies quickly.
"How did I get here? Did I come alone?" I asked softly.
"No! There was a gentleman who brought you in. He's waiting for you......." The nurse said.
"Really? Really!?" I say.
"Yes, he is really worried for you...." She answered.
"Can you have him come in?" I asked.
"Sure I will tell him, when I give him a progress report." The doctor says.
"Dr. Kane, I don't want him or any one else to know, what is truly wrong I don't want to worry them....." I say sternly.
"Well if that's what you want...." He says.
"Yes, that's what I want......" I say.
"Let me reinsure you. No one can get your medical information. Unlessoning you order or give permission to do so." He states a matter factly.
"Oh that good...." I sighed.
"I will tell your friend who brought you here just the basics okay? Would that be alright?" He Asks.
"Yes that will be fine...." I say with a nod.
After he leaves I wait for Jan to come.
"What am I going to say to Jan?" I thought.
I see Jan making his way to my bed side.
"How are you?" He asked concerningly.
"I'm better, Thank You....." I smiled.
"Yes Miss Jessica, you wanted to see me!" Jan says sweetly.
"Jan, you're still here?" I say with a smile.
"Yes, Miss Jessica." He said.
"Well Jan, I want to Thank you for staying with me through this, And taking me to the hospital. I appreciate all you have done for me. But I'll be fine from now on. So you can go back to the palace now. Prince Joshua will be looking for you." I state calmly.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yes please go......" I replied
"Okay I will go then, but if there is any thing you need please , Ms. Jessica, don't hesitate to call me...." I bowed and I gave her, her purse and house keys. I don't want to go. But I have to go now. I wave as I leave my hospital room.
I look up at door as Jan leaves. I waved good bye, and I mouthed, "Thank You.." To him.
I lay back in my hospital bed. I pulled up the covers and I drifted off to sleep.
Time Skip to the next morning
I was awaked early in the morning by my doctor, Dr. Kane, he standing over my bed. Looking a little perplexed. Should I be worried? I thought to myself.
"Good morning Ms. Ho........" He smiled.
"Good morning, Dr. Kane." I said.
"I wanted to talk to you about your condition?" He replied.
"Okay, what is wrong?" I said.
"We have gotten more of your test results back....." He says calmly.
"Okay, is there some thing really wrong with me!?" I say in a panic.
"Well, your blood pressure is unstable plus your anemic and your exhibiting signs of exhaustion." He read the paper work out loud and in order.
"I know I haven't been sleeping or eating well. I've been having problems keeping the food down. I don't know why?" I say nonchalantly.
"Well the reason is that your pregnant." He replied sternly.
"What!?" I say in surprise.
"Congratulation your pregnant." Dr. Kane says happily.
