I Still Need You

Chapter 9

Joey's POV

While we were going to bed Daniel's phone kept ringing and I wanted to know who would be calling him at this hour?

"Who's that?" I tell him trying to see the name on the phone. Daniel immediately locks his screen and puts his phone face down on the bedside table.

"N-No one babe." He says giving me a smile.

I just shrug it off and lay down to go to sleep.

I open my eyes and all I could hear was constant vibrating coming from Daniel's phone. I got up and got his phone from the bedside table. I unlocked his phone and immediately I could feel the tears start to form in my eyes.

Hey come over.

You're boyfriend doesn't know about this right?

Please don't tell me you're with him right now?

I felt a wave of anger come over me. I gripped his phone and threw it at the wall. With the loud thump that the phone made with the wall Daniel woke up.

"What's wrong baby?" Daniel said trying to focus his eyes on me.

"Who the fuck are you texting?" I say crossing my arms in front of my chest.

"What are you talk-" I cut him off before he could say anything.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING TO?! WHY IS SOMEONE TEXTING YOU THAT IF YOU ARE WITH ME?! DO YOU NOT LOVE ME ANYMORE THAT YOU NEED TO GO AND FUCK SOMEONE ELSE?" I say as tears start to form in my eyes.

"No baby it's just th-"

"Don't you ever call me baby ever again." I say while putting on shoes and starting to leave our bedroom.

"Joey wait!" Daniel said while jumping out the bed.

I started going down the stairs but Daniel grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a tight hug so I couldn't get out of the house.

"LET ME GO DANIEL!" I say punching his back while he tightens the hug.

"No Joey please listen! It isn't what it looks like!" He said loosening his grip on the hug.

"Then what is it Daniel? Because the only thing I see is that you're cheating on me." When I said that Daniel let go from the hug and just stared at me.

"That's what I thought fucker. Never talk to me ever again. I'm coming to pick u-" Daniel cut me off this time.

"It's j-just that I-I was going to g-give you this." He said while walking towards a drawer from the kitchen.

He pulled out a gold cuff bracelet and gave it to me.

"I was going to engrave our names on it and that guy that texted me was the guy but he only had time when he got out of work but you saw the texts and must've thought of what other stuff." Daniel said looking down at his feet tears going down his cheeks.

I immediately felt guilty of what Daniel wanted to do to me and I had to go and fuck things up.

"I'm really sorry Daniel. I didn't know you were going to do this." I said while going up to him and embracing him in a hug.

"I-I just wanted to make it s-special for you." He said stuffing his face in my hair.

"I love it like this because you thought of me." I said picking me head up so he could look at me.

"I love you." I said while giving him a kiss.

Once we pulled away Daniel wiped up his tears and gave me a little smile.

"I love you too baby."
