A Trip Away: Over the Bridges

This is my time to shine

As the sun rose on the early Saturday morning Anita had woken up and got dressed. Anita's brother Ranny was also awake and dressed. They both quietly walked past Miss Charmaine, who had fallen asleep on the chair. Ranny got a pen and paper and wrote:
Dear Miss Charmaine,
                                             Anita and I have gone out to Amsterdam. We took
the trackers that you provided for us. We will be back at 1 o'clock, hopefully.
Don't worry I will look after my sister.
                                                                            Love Ranny
Ranny left the note on Miss Charmaine's phone, knowing she will pick it up, and left with a piece of bread. Anita looked at her watched and realised they only had 10 minutes to get to the front of the Singel canal. Anita reached into her pocket and pulled out a crumpled map she had picked up in the taxi. They followed the long circles on the map. They went past three coffee shops, one supermarket and 25 souvenir shops.

Anita and Ranny looked up and down at the big building they were about to walked into. The were three huge Windows and six stories. Anita saw the sign saying 'Apollo 24' and underneath said Toolio Curtis. Anita thought to her self; That was the taxi driver from yesterday. What a name, Toolio Curtis.
Ranny started walking up to the door, Anita quickly followed. "I am sorry Anita that I didn't believe you but know I really do." Anita smiled her wicked smile. Knock, knock, knock.
A tall young lady come to the door in a blue and white dress. "Hello may I help you?"
"Um yes, I am Anita Charles."
"Oh yes. You are the famous Anita Charles Toolio has been talking about. Come in."
Ranny and Anita walked in. There were big pictures of young girls with cute clothes on. The young lady showed them up the stairs to the main studio. There were huge white walls and window's which were double  the size of Ranny. There were lights which shone on a white piece of paper. A photographer holding a priceless camera. A few stylist's and a man with long hair and a suit and tie. "Anita Charles is here."
The man turned round and greeted them. "Anita darling you made it," the man said turning round.
Anita looked very closely at the man and then realised it was Toolio Curtis. "Hi Toolio Curtis, this is my brother Ranny."
"Hello Ranny."
Ranny waved at Toolio then stepped back so Anita could go get changed. Toolio told Anita to go over to Jennet and Matt for your first styling. There were four racks of clothes. One had the word Panda. Another had Pugs. Then the other two had lions and polar bears. "So Miss Anita, what would you like to be first?" Matt asked.
"Well I would love to be a panda," Anita replied, jumping up and down.
"Ok, go and put that Onesie on."
Anita walked into the changing room wearing her blue and white shorts and her I love New York top but came out wearing the panda onesie.
Everyone clapped as she walked out. She put on her best smile and her best walk. Anita was so happy as she walked out but then she noticed Ranny who sat on one of the chairs in the corner looking useless. Poor Ranny I wish he would enjoy this and not be so sad Anita thought. Well he has had his moments like when he one the science fair and when he got voted school president and he is still two years younger. I mean I did fell sorry like two seconds ago but know I don't this is my time to shine.
