It was Monday and I didn't see Kirsten at school today. But she was also nowhere to be seen in the next two days. It was upsetting me. Was she leaving with Stan? Was he the reason she skipped school? Did she... settle down with him? I slammed my locker door angrily. If Kirsten still hadn't come to school today, I would kill Stan.

"Calm down, Liam."

I whirled around and found my girl friends—Sasha, Kate, Andrea, and Brittany—standing behind me. I faked a smile when I saw them already smiling at me.

"Hi, girls," I greeted.

"What happened? Something's bothering you this morning?" Kate asked.

"Nothing, I'm fine."

The girls exchanged a look with one another then they smiled meaningfully. Sasha walked over to me and stopped only a few inches away from me. I could see her green eyes so distinctly and the smell of her high class perfume filled my nose.

"So, I'm hosting a party this Friday, would you like to come?"

"Uh, I..."

"All your friends are coming," she added.

I didn't know what to answer. I always loved to go to a party. But for this time, I just didn't feel like partying. I was a bit surprised when Sasha gripped my blazer and stepped closer to me.

"So?" she inquired as she smiled.

"Sure," I finally answered. "I'd love to come."

Sasha smiled seductively then she tiptoed and whispered in my ear, "Tomorrow night. At my place."

I let out a relief when I saw the clique walking away. I had just made it over quickly by accepting the invitation. Sasha, she was the girl I'd had a crush on when I was in year 7. She was pretty, hot, and rich. She was like that girl every boy wanted to sleep with. I remembered when I fancied her so much but she'd never looked at me because I used to be an unpopular boy. Then in year 9, I started working out, took self-defense classes, and joined a football club. When I'd got a lot of friends, she began to flirt with me but I didn't have a feeling for her anymore because I realized she didn't deserve me. But I guessed she thought I still wanted her while I clearly didn't.

"Liam, my man!"

I startled when someone put their arm around my shoulders. I didn't need to turn my head because I knew exactly who it was. "Hi, Andy."

"Geez, I saw you with Sasha from there!" Andy said excitedly.

I rolled my eyes as I exhaled heavily. "So?"

"Dude, you were really, really close to her! If that was me, I would've just pushed her against my locker, kissed her lips, and fu-"

"You're disgusting," I interrupted him then released myself from him.

"Every boy would do that, you stupid pretty boy!"

"Not me," I simply replied.

Andy raised one eyebrow and he gave me a weird look. He stared at me for a few seconds before he finally said, "Hey, are you sure you're not... Um, you know..."

"What?" I looked at him, baffled. But the next second, I raised my eyebrows as I understood what he meant. "I'm not gay!"

Andy laughed. "Sorry, man. Because you don't seem interested in Sasha, you've never had a long-term relationship, and it's been a while since you broke up with your last girlfriend, so I just thought-"

"No, I'm straight!" I grumbled. "I do like girls!"

"Okay, okay. Relax." Andy took a step back. "I know you're just too good to reject them."
