I spent the next three weeks of my summer break by hanging out with some friends, playing football, going to the gym and my self-defense classes, and more. I'd apologized to Kevin and said I had nothing to do with Kirsten. He seemed suspicious at first, but he accepted my apology anyway. I'd also said sorry to Sasha for ruining her party and she'd told me not to think about it. After that, no one ever talked about what had happened at her party as if there was never that day.

"Hi, Liam."

I turned my head and saw Sasha standing over me behind my RayBan sunglasses. She was wearing her string bikini that showing off her big boobs. After winding her long, dirty blond hair into a bun and unwrapped a fluffy pink towel around her thin waist, she took a seat on a pool chair next to me.

I shot her a smile. "Hi, Sasha."

My friends and I were in Ibiza, spending three days here. Two weeks ago, Andy showed me a flyer about an Ibiza trip. I basically declined it, but he kept begging me to come. He told me he asked his crush, Brittany—one of Sasha's BFFs—but she only wanted to come if Sasha did and Sasha would come if I came. I didn't have a choice because Andy had been my best friend since year 8. Besides, Ibiza might help me to forget about Kirsten.

It'd been a few weeks since the last time I'd seen Kirsten. To be honest, my effort to forget her had been going pretty well, even though she was never really gone from my head. But being around my friends really helped me to go through it. They also made me realize why would I waste my summer or—even worse—my entire life to care about someone who didn't care about me? I should be enjoying my life while I was young.

I looked around. "Where's the others?"

"They're still at the bar," Sasha answered.

I nid-nodded.

"Well Liam, my dad is hosting a celebration party of his new promotion at my house this Saturday, would you like to come?" Sasha asked, her gray eyes staring at me. Please?, they said. "My dad actually didn't ask me to invite some friends, but I know it will be really boring." She raised one shoulder. "I think it's okay if I just invite one friend."

"I'm sorry, Sasha. I'm going on holiday with my family this Friday," I told carefully. Like I'd thought, the smile on Sasha's face turned upside down and her eyebrows furrowed.

"Where are you going?" Sasha sounded upset.

"Asia."

"Asia? Why Asia?"

I shrugged. "I've never been there and I want to go to new places."

At first, that'd been the reason why I'd chosen Asia to spend my summer at. And now, this was one of my ways to forget Kirsten. But I couldn't tell Sasha the truth. I was still excited to go on that ten-day trip, anyway.

Three days in Ibiza went by and the day of my flight to Asia had come. My sister who was in her last term at University of Glasgow had come along. The trip went good. My family and I spent three days in Japan and four days in Bali and the rest on the plane. I visited some places in Japan, such as Tokyo Tower, Shibuya, and many more. I didn't miss the chance of enjoying the view of Mount Fuji and riding the Shinkansen—the fastest train in the world. The last day in Japan, I went to Disneyland Tokyo and bought some merchandise for my friends. I also enjoyed my time on the beach in Bali, finally having the sun again after so long. Rode a banana boat and speedboat, tried parasailing for the first time, and went surfing were really fun, but scuba diving was my favorite one. Surely I would be really tanned after this holiday. I'd really like to visit Bali again next summer.

Even though I'd been having fun, I didn't want to lie that I still couldn't really sweep Kirsten away from my mind. Well, that's the ironic thing about forgetting someone you love, right? The more you try to forget, the more you think about them. I'd been surprised when I'd found myself buying an Eeyore doll for Kirsten from Disney store, it wasn't like she would accept my gift anyway. But deep down in my heart, I wished I could go on the holiday with her.
