You make me smile

Part 2

A year and a half later.

It was one o clock at night and Hannah got a call from Ingrid

"Hey, I know it's late and I hope I didn't wake you but I kinda could use someone to talk to"

"Hey dude no worries, you want me to come over?"

"Uhm no that's ok, but I might already be at yours"

"Oh well, give me one second to open the door"

"Thanks"

Hannah opened the door and let Ingrid in. It had been raining and Ingrid was soaked since she walked over.

"Did you walk all the way over in this weather?"

"Yeah, uhm I needed time to think and walking helps, but it started to pour and I realized I needed to talk to someone and you were the first person I thought of"

"Hold on let me get you a blanket and some dry clothes first"

Hannah came back with a towel and one of her carrot onesies.

"I know it might look ridiculous but it's really warm and comfy I promise"

Ingrid smiled and happily took the onesie. She went to change and when she came back, Hannah was patiently waiting with a glass of wine.

"I thought a drink would help" Hannah said.

"Thank you and you're right I do need a drink."

"Now what did you want to talk about?"

"Well..." Ingrid really just wanted to get it over with but turns out it wasn't that easy. She couldn't get the words out.

Hannah saw the struggle in her eyes and just gave her a hug.

"Hey, it's alright, I'm here you can tell me anything"

"I know that's not the problem, you're like the kindest most understanding person I know, but it still isn't easy"

"Ok, what about we watch some tv and when you're ready you can tell me, ok?"

"That does sound good"

Hannah got up to turn on the tv but before she could even get the remote Ingrid spoke.

"I'm gay"

Hannah stopped and turned around with a big smile on her face. She had been hoping Ingrid was going to say these words for a long time.

"I'm proud of you" Hannah said while pulling Ingrid into another hug.

"There's more" Ingrid whispered so soft Hannah almost didn't hear it.

"What is it?" She asked.

"I think I'm falling for you" Ingrid whispered

Hannah looked into Ingrid's eyes and smiled.

"You don't know how happy I am to hear those words"

Now Ingrid started to smile too.

"You are?"

"Off course, you're the most interesting and amazing person I've ever met, and from the moment we met I felt a connection. I'm so lucky I got to meet you and I fell for you a long time ago" Hannah said.

Ingrid loved every word that came out of Hannah's mouth. She leaned closer until their lips were merely inches away from each other. She closed her eyes and then she could feel Hannah's lips against hers. It was the sweetest kiss she ever experienced and she loved every second of it. When they broke the kiss, they rested their foreheads against each other and couldn't stop smiling.

"You're really cute in that carrot onesie, you know that?" Hannah said and Ingrid just laughed
