Chapter 2: He's always late

In a high school on the other side of the world a graduation was taking place. The gymnasium stands were quickly filling up with the family and friends of the students, the students were sitting in chairs on the gymnasium floor fitted with caps and gowns. "Alriiiiiight Goten! Whoo hoo!" cheered Chi-Chi as she, Gohan, Videl (with toddler Pan in her arms), and Hercule all took their seats. Goten flinched embarrassingly at his mother's voice and sheepishly turned in his seat giving a wave. One of his friends mocked the moment by poking Goten's cheek and going "I wub you Goten!". Goten scowls as his friends playfully chuckle. "I am so proud of my baby boy! I remember when you were down there Gohan, you were so cute!" Chi-Chi gushed as she pinched her oldest son's cheek "Heh heh thanks mom" Gohan said embarrassed. The lights in the gym came down blanketing the area in a nice low light ambiance, the crowds hushed as a screen hanging above the stage came on. The seats the parents are in are assigned by name and Chi-Chi notices the one next to her labeled "Son Goku" is empty. Chi-Chi nudges Gohan and speaks with a loud whisper "Where's your father?!", Gohan looks over at the empty seat and face palms "Oh no....".

Meanwhile in the same city a bank robbery was taking place. A police barricade was set up outside with police officers all aiming their guns at the bank entrance, their chief officer had a megaphone in hand and was yelling demands into it "You only have one way out of this! Come out slowly with your hands up or we will stop you by force!" He shouted. A robber in a ski mask and armed with a machine gun was standing at the bank entrance taunting the police from the inside, he laughs hearing the threat "Try it pigs!" He shouts and then walks into the bank lobby where three more robbers fitted with ski masks and machine guns had people on the floor. "Cops are here" he told his fellow robbers "let's make this quick boss!" One of the other robbers exclaimed, "No problem" replied the head robber with an evil smirk. "Alright! somebody better take us to the vault before I get really angry!" the head robber shouts before firing his gun into the ceiling making the citizens scream in terror. "Well that's not nice" said a voice from behind the robbers, all four of them whip around to see a man with a strange spiky hair style wearing a tan suit and blue tie standing at the bank entrance. "What the hell?! Blast'em!" Cries the head robber. All four of them unleash a relentless barrage of gunfire on the man, the bullets bounce off of him not phasing him a bit but definitely do a number on his suit. After the barrage of bullets the robbers are left mortified with their jaws on the floor, the man looks down at his bullet hole riddled suit "Aw man, Chi-Chi's gonna kill me...." He said in a disappointed tone. "What the hell is with this guy?!" one robber shouts "he's probably got a vest, just rush'em!" the head robber shouted "No way man, this guy's frickin' crazy!" one of the robbers protested "'Crazy'?" the suited man said in a confused tone. The head robber was disgusted with the cowardice of his cohorts "Are you kidding me? Fine pansies, I'll just do it!". He charges the man in the suit yelling a battle cry the whole way. The robber approached to strike but the suited man casually throws a straight punch sending the robber flying straight back across the room and through a wall; the on looking citizens let out a unified gasp of terrifying awe. The invincible warrior then narrows his gaze at the robbers with a serious glare and begins to speak "Anyone else wanna.....?" but before the man could finish his sentence the robbers drop their guns and run out of the bank with their hands up shouting in unison "WE SURRENDER! WE SURRENDER!"

Everyone in the bank immediately got up cheering and surrounded their savior thanking him endlessly. He scratches the back of his head sheepishly, and after chuckling says "Aw no need to thank me, eh heh heh heh". The police rush in inspecting the bank lobby, Goku then looks up at a clock and is immediately reminded of prior engagements "Oh no the time! Chi-Chi's gonna kill me for sure! Gotta go everyone, sorry!" He exclaims. He then touches two fingers to his forehead and vanishes leaving everyone stunned.
