~.~ People don't understand how much it sucks to always be in a fight or fight situation, every single thing I do is a fight or flight situation and it sends me into a panic... ~.~
I walked through the office doors, chewing my lip until I could taste blood. I hadn't mentioned my appointment with Dr. Ross, my therapist, to Todd or my parents.
I went up to the front desk to ask directions but I had to stop myself.
My breath quickened and my hands started to shake and I made a dash down the hall. I started gasping for air as I glanced around the unfamiliar rooms and halls looking for a place to hide.
I ducked into an open door way and sat on the floor. I let my anxiety rip through me like wild beasts let free, I let it engulf me in panic and fear.
After the panic wore off, I sat there. I sat there in the calming silence and just took deep breaths with my eyes closed.
"Are you alright?" I heard a male voice ask, "I assume you're Margo?"
My eyes flew open and I gasped in fright.
"My names Dr. Ross and this is my office, and you're," he flipped through his notes,
"My next appointment."
