Chapter 2: Town of Begginings

Shops, stores, and groups of people were everywhere. We walked down into a blacksmith shop to look around. Me, Shizuka, and our other friend Neo were beta testers. We had extra cash for participating.

I saw a blade with clear silver with a sharp tip and a black handle with a great grip. "Not to light not to heavy. Just sturdy and reliable", I said out loud. The price was $850, which wasn't bad. Shizuka bought a nice samurai sword and a sword holder. We both tried the new weapons in the fields, killing boars and gaining levels.

A few moments later...

We were both exhausted and needed some rest. We bought a house with our money from killing the boars. The house was like a fancy cabin that costed $10,000, but we had enough money left over. (Description) The cabin sweat to enjoy! Two bed, great kitchen and living room. Living out of town isn't so bad after all!

I walked into the house. Woah! This is big! Glad it was cheap or we couldn't pay for it. I settled in one of the comfy chairs. " Ugh! Finally some rest...", I said. I took off my gear and lay down on my back. "Somebody's tired. Why don't you get settled while I get my gear off?", Shizuka said. I nodded, and went to the kitchen. Maybe I can practice cooking skills when I have the time, I thought. I opened my menu and went to the skills section and tapped on 'Cooking'.

Lesson 1: The basics, is what I need to start off with. The door to our cabin opened up. " Maybe we can rest here if its abandoned". I turn to see to people inside. One was man dressed in black. The other was a girl with a white and some red clothes. "Excuse me?", I said. " What are you doing in here?" They both stared at me blankly. I pulled out my sword and said, "If your a thief or something, you better get out. If you know what good for you". The man continued to stare at me, then pulled out a sword. The woman said, " Stop Kirito". She stared at me, "My names Asuna, we just needed some place to stay. Is that okay?". I put my sword away.

" Well...there's two beds with four people in this house. Two people on each bed I guess", I said, shrugging. Kirito nodded and said, "Were you a beta tester? You look familiar". I grinned, I was the person he saw often in the beta test. He was the only guy to make it to floor 79. Me and my friends got to floor 43.

" Maybe I am, my names Jay", I said. Then I pointed to Shizu, who walked out our room, "That's Shizuka, she was also a beta tester". Kirito kept nodding as I went on. Then Asuna spoke up, " You still haven't answered our question. Can we stay? ".

I thought about it, then looked at Shizu. " We'll have to make some adjustments ".
