(My name is Laurence zvahl head guard of the lord of Meteli , my parents died or couldn't care for me when I was young I don't know the details. I was adopted by Joh a man of great ruling ,he was the lord of Meteli .I entered guard training when I was young to learn to serve and protect him as head guard instead of going next in line for the throne of being lord but I failed him. Irene knows i'll never forgive myself, I turned for one second I swear and when I turned back there was an arrow through his chest. I was sure I patrolled correctly I checked every nook and cranny nooo this can't happening no is here.This has to be some horrible nightmare ,but then I saw a shadow a quite curvy one she must have been a women I can't see her face. I don't know who she is but I sure as hell know she isn't a villager from here. I quickly ran outside to go chase her down but after 10 mins of running aimlessly she had gotten away.After all that running I didn't even notice it had gotten colder ,but I didn't care I was warm and tired from all the running plus I had to get to Meteli before anything else happens.I quickly started to run again when I got there I was relieved nothing had happened when I was gone. Everything was so quiet as much as I wanted to go check on two certain people I knew I had to go straight to the guard tower and get help and more patrollers.When I got to the guard tower Ulrich was training and the other guards were sleeping I had been the only one patrolling that night. I knew I shoulda asked for more guard help, but I thought I could do this I guess I was wrong.Now is not the time to mourn get it together Laurance I knew I couldn't just go up to Ulrich unless I wanted my head to get sliced off and the it would be bye bye Laurence .Ulrich would think i'm an intruder ,because he always gets caught up in training ,but us guards know better so I sat in a chair and whistled as loud as I could and waved my arms high.He saw me immediately and stared at me annoyed ,but I didn't care this was an emergency.
