My phone rang.

" Hello? " I ask, when a skim over the name shot me up.

" Ms. Hinojosa how's the writing going! " Mr. Murphy chirped into the phone.

" Perfect, I got a new plot and everything. " I tell the slight truth.

He chuckled, " Can I hear the first few lines maybe? "

" No. " I rush, " I mean I wanted it to be a surprise to you. You're gonna love it. Trust me. "

" Canada really has inspired you huh Stacy. Remember, two months left." And with a click. He was gone.

After another twenty minutes of lying in bed, a knock was at my door, frightful for it to be Zachary I peered out my window to see nobody in sight.

I slowly slunk down the stairs and opened the doors to reveal white roses and a white balloon. A note tied to the balloon and flowers that I hurriedly took inside.

Dear Stacy,

My texts and calls won't work, I'm sorry for what happened, I understand completely and I just wanted to say that these two months have been great.

If you ask me? Parker wasn't that good of a boyfriend if he breaks up with you over a dog bite. I remember that white is your favorite color so here we are. Goodbye Stacy.

Zach.

A deafening blow hit me then. It was the end to a friendship, and the end to my story. I fell back onto the couch with a sigh of defeat. I had finally lost.

Looking to Leo he sat perched at his empty food bowl. I had neglected feeding him this morning due to the fact that I didn't feel like going out, nor did I want to do it solely for dog kibble. But right now, I guess it's mandatory.

Grabbing my jacket and satchel I hopped onto the bus, it was an insanely gloomy day. I arrived at the nearest grocery store possible. Dashing inside to find the food and the basics.

As I roamed the aisles a familiar voice made me want to dive head first into the boxes of cereal in front of me.

" Hello Mitchell... And guest. " I looked to the petite girl that stood next to him.

He smiled, " That's Bee, my fiancé. "

The girl beamed and reached forward to shake my hand, " Pleasure to meet you. We should hang out sometime. "

Before I could protest, Mitchell butted in, " She's always free. You guys should go out tonight. The clubs will be booming. It's a Saturday night. "

With a deep pit of dispare in my stomach forming I looked to Bee who was still grinning.

" Sure! Stacy I'll meet you at... Mmm Hillside Night Club at nine, what do you say? " She pressed.

With a burning passion to leave this store, and planet. I could only agree through gritted teeth before I rushed to the check out and hurried home to feed the pup.

For the next four hours I had decided what to wear to this snog fest. Finding a sweater with a hanging neck part with my black leggings wasn't too fancy.

I thought of just not showing up until Mitchell texted !me te bus route to the club. Which made me wanna vomit.

I could see myself slowly disappear as I caked on foundation and eyeliner, even going as far as straightening my hair, things I haven't done since highschool.

After getting on the bus and finally arriving I wanted to badly uke on the people when I immediately walked in. They where drunk, and grinding on each other.

Bee was at the bar already, getting wasted while I pushed my way through the crowds of sex and drugs to sit in the corner and feel the tears start to escape at the brink of my eyes.

I felt a person slide down next me, glancing over to see Bee with an empty glass in her hand, she looked tired and pale.

With a sigh she spoke up, " I don't even like clubs. I just wanted a little breather from Mitchell. "

" Pfft I didn't even have a choice really. I had to get out of my house, days of solitude get old you know. " I look to her, the blue lights from the dance floor making her look even more tired.

" I'm sorry. " She put her head down.

I stood up and offered the girl my hand, " Let's get out of thisz place, its way to stuffy anyways. "

She sat her drink on the floor and took my hand, I pulled her to the door and when we finally escaped she offered for a different way of hanging out.

She drove us to a park with a beautiful fountain, there weren't that many people and she walked around the place, pointing out things and stating facts about what it was she had looked to now.

" You sure do have alot of facts Bee. " I laugh when we took a seat on the bench positioned twords the front of the fountain.

" Well I'm aiming for being a history teacher. That's one of two reasons we came back to Ontario. I got a job as a history teacher for the middle school I met Mitchell. " A sudden soft smile grew on her face.

" What are the colors for the wedding? " I question her.

" Yellow and pink. " She laughed, " Or honey and strawberry. Mitch thought of it. "

" If you don't mind me asking, what's your real name, I know it isn't just Bee is it? " I ask.

Again she let out a giggle, " Bianca, Bee is just a nickname. "

" Bianca? I like it. Fits you very well. And I might add you are a very interesting person Bianca. " I look to her and smile.

" You are probably the nicest person, I honestly am shocked your Graser's uh... " She trailed off.

" Friend. We're just friends, despite popular belief by my now exboyfriend and his brother. " I roll my eyes.

" Its a shame what Graser and his brother have been through. Those poor boys are having tragic events stacked on each other now that Zach just got diagnosed. " She shook her head.

" Diagnosed? What? " I press.

Her eyes grew, " He hasn't told you? It's the middle of July! He had this news four weeks ago... He never told you?.. "

" Bianca please tell me what's wrong with him! " I plea.

I could see the sadness on her face, " The cause of it is... The crash from when his father was killed. The seatbelt pushed against his neck with such force it damaged his voice box... But they just found that out... Stacy Zach's going to lose his voice once he gets the surgery. "
