The cat in the image is Turtlestar, just to be clear ^^
Snowtail was sleeping in the warriors den, snuggled up to Blazingeyes. Wait, Blazingeyes? Wasn't he dead? How is this possible? Snowtail struggled to wake up, but failed when one of her best friends, Scissortail, padded in with a warm smile, his silver pelt shining. She finally won in the battle of opening her eyes to a room full of unfamiliar faces, but she recognized one of them, but couldn't figure out who it was.
The tuxedo-cat leapt into the piney clearing, looking downcast as she wasn't greeted with the fresh, chilly scent of frozen mountain air and the tickle of snow. Turtlestar was rolled over, sunning on the rocks. "Don't you love this warm weather?" he yawned.
"No. I'd rather be floundering uselessly, leg deep in snow." Snowtail sighed with a longing glance. "I miss Blizzardtail and Blazingeyes and Finchsplash. Maybe even Alpinebranch." Turtlestar looked confused and sympathetic. "I'm not sure you told me about Alpinebranch. You probably did. Was he the 'idiotic, stupid apprentice who was too bossy for his own good'?" the tortoiseshell mewed in laughter. "Um, yes. You described him perfectly and accurately. My brother was his best friend. He was also an idiot."
"Hahaha... I had siblings like that. They were much worse, and their friend was a bully. Worst of all, they sided with him and not me, and pushed me around and bullied me all the time. I showed them" he flexed his shoulder muscles and threw a sarcastic, sexy look at Snowtail, who bursted out in an uncontrollable giggle. "What? Are my legs noodles or something? Well, whatever. I need to organize stuff. I hear that SkyClan's planning a battle. They've just returned to the forest after ThunderClan decided to share their territory."
"Ooh, a battle. That'll lighten me up a bit." Snowtail joked. Right at her remark, a patrol of three unknowns bursted in. "There was a scuffle at the border. ThunderClan apprentices ganged up on a newbie that we had, Birdpaw, she can't move."

Even though Snowtail was utterly confused, she leapt through the undergrowth after the patrol and Turtlestar. "No, no, no." he was hissing. "My sister, my only sister. I will rip them to shreds."
As they broke through the swath of pine trees, they were horrified to the sight of three ten-moon old apprentices beating up a fragile looking six-moon. Her silvery paws were covering her head as she took endless blows. "That's for calling me 'rude'." one of them hissed into her torn ear. "Birdpaw! Ohoho, those idiots will pay." Turtlestar crashed through the undergrowth, slamming into the nearest one and tearing at its pelt. "I'll rip the sorry guts out of your suffering body before you hurt my sister!" he roared. Snowtail had to practically pry him off with a branch so he wouldn't kill the other apprentice, who was quivering on the ground. "Lemme at him! Let me rip his pelt off!" the leader snarled, aiming strong swipes as one of them tried to take him on. "I'll take care of this. Get at least three more cats and we can publicly embarrass him in front of his Clan." Snowtail released Turtlestar and tackled the one who was still attacking Birdpaw, tearing half of his ear off. "Ow! Hey! Snowtail?" the apprentice punched her jaw and looked up. Realization hit her that this was the one who had bullied her for hours on end just to annoy her, the one who befriended her brother. It was Alpinebranch.
