Snowtail's eyes flickered open, adjusting to the chilling darkness around her. She felt her head, wincing when she felt blood but something else. She was in too much pain to get up. "H-hello?" the hoarse whisper escaped her throat. "Hello. Don't talk, you'll hurt your jaw. I fixed it because you dislocated it." came the prideful mew of another cat that sounded more like a kit. "Dislocated?" Snowtail grumbled. "What happened?" her eyes had adjusted and the figure of a snow-white cat with blue eyes was in front of her. "Dunno. I'm Lillypetal, two l's in the name, by the way. I used to be a kitty-pet. I ran away." she shuffled around the bitter smelling area. "Okay. Try to stand up."

Snowtail's paws ached from the epidemic she had escaped from, stumbling the first time, but gaining her balance. "Where am I?" she meowed, her ear flicking. "ShadowClan camp." "WHAT!?" "Calm your tail!" Lillypetal poked her. "WHAT AM I DOING AWAY FROM THE MOUNTAINS? WHAT HAPPENED TO CRYSTALCLAN!?" the white she-cat looked baffled. "Oh, THAT CrystalClan. Are you talking about that kit story?" Snowtail rubbed her forehead in exhasperation. "No. That was my home. I got swept away from it after a hurricane." her memories came flooding back, the death of Finshsplash, the roaring winds, Blizzardfang's bloody corpse... Needlestar.

"So... CrystalClan is real?" Lillypetal stared in awe, her blue eyes wide. "Yes, I explained that FIVE. TIMES." the medicine-cat shrugged. "I need to take things in. I'm guessing you should tell Turtlestar about that whole story." "IT'S NOT A STORY!" "Whatever." she grinned and pushed Snowtail out. "Now shoo!"

She trudged through the camp in confusion, looking for an important looking cat. She turned to a mottled tortoiseshell tom and asked, "Um, do you know where I can find Turtlestar?" the tom blinked. "That's me."

"Well, that's ironic." Snowtail muttered.

"Hmm?"

"Nothing. Are you wondering how I got here?" her tail flicked. Turtlestar nodded. "Yes. Are you willing to tell me?" he furrowed his brow. "Y-yes. Should I start?" Snowtail felt stupid talking to a leader. "Okay, well... It started when I was on a hunting patrol when these crazy winds started to blow. Um, a few minutes passed and eventually we figured out that a gigantic storm was approaching, a hurricane. Finchsplash, one of the warriors, ran and got crushed by rubble, and everybody was either crushed or swept away. I ran and ran, but slipped in the stream. It was so cold... I blacked out after that." Turtlestar nodded. "Ah, I see. Well, you are welcome to stay here for however long it takes to recover."

"When will I be able to go home?"

"Your choice."

"Oh, okay." and which those words, Snowtail padded out of the leader's den with Turtlestar staring after her with a thoughtful look.
