"Shit, Ethan, run!!" I turned my head shouting at him.
He nods and speeds up coming beside me.
I hear running behind both of us, indicating the girl was still trying to get us.
I turn my head a little and get a glimpse at her.
Even from the 0.0007 second glimpse, I could instantly recognize the beautiful brunette.
Misty.
"Oh my god Ethan!" I said.
"What?" He said out of breathe still trying to catch up with me.
"The girl trying to get us is misty" I say slowing a bit down.
"WHAT?" He some what shouts.
"Turn left" I say nudging him.
We both turned left and ran.
"Right" I said.
We both turned right.
We ran straight into the far side of the woods.
"Did we loose her?" Ethan asked slowing down more.
I shrug and look around to see a big, thick tree.
"Hide behind that tree" I say pointing at it and running to it.
I ran behind it and Ethan scrambles next to me.
We stand with our backs to the tree.
"D-did w-we loose h-er?" Ethan asked trying to catch his breathe.
Both of our chests went up and down trying to breathe.
"I-I think so" I say closing my eyes.
"Hello?"
My eyes shoot open and both our, me and Ethan's, heads shoot to the direction of the voice.
"I know your here" she says looking around.
We stand right behind her.
Only a bush separated us.
"Look, I didn't mean to frighten you" she says starting to turn around.
Ethan and I just stare at her.
She fully turns around and meets eyes with me.
I stand, Ethan too, paralyzed.
She smile,
"Hi" she says waving her hand.
"Can she see us?" Ethan whispers to me.
"No dip" I whisper back.
"What's your guys names?" She asks pushing past the bush.
"Timmy" Ethan says.
I burst out laughing.
He nudges my side, "Stop laughing at my name, Bob"
My head shoots up and I give him a look.
"Well hi Timmy and Bob" Misty says.
"Hello..what's your name?" I ask.
"Misty" she says.
I nod and look over at the red Ethan.
He tries holding in his laughter.
"What are you guys doing here?" She asks.
"Oh um, picking berries" I chuckle.
"Where's your basket?" She giggles.
"We lost it from-"
"Why did you run away from me?" She cuts me off.
"Um.." I begin.
"Because we thought you were our sister.." Ethan says.
"Why would you run away from your sister?" She asks.
"She threatened to kill us" I say.
"To kill you? She must just be joking. My brother says that a lot but I mean, I am still here right?" She giggles a little.
"Yeah, your right," I laugh,"Why were you here?"
"Walking through the woods brings peace. I just have a lot of things on my mind I guess" she says.
I nod.
