My Best Friends Brother (Harry Styles)

Kylie's POV

Today I decided to visit my mother and see how she was doing since I haven't seen her in what feels like forever. She has been my rock all of my life and there is no way that I would give up the chance to see her, ever.

Harry said he would catch up with some of his mates that live here while I get some time with my mom. Though he insisted to take us both out for dinner and it was something I couldn't pass up due to me wanting my mom to meet Harry.

As I drive in my car that I left here which consisted on my security guard to bring it to Harry's I'm getting super nervous to see my mom.

When I find a parking space I lock my car and walk through the car park and there is only two guys with a camera.

They don't say anything to me as all I hear is clicks from them going on and off. I open the doors ahead of me and walk into the large building where my mother is working.

When I walk to the front desk I go to say hello to Karen who has been my moms good friend since I was a little girl.

"Hey Karen!" I squeal as she stands up to give me a big hug. She has always been like family to me whether we were blood related or not.

"Hunny oh my gosh I've missed you! You have grown so much and I see how well you are doing in those magazines!" She smiles widely at my as she sits back in her seat as I lean on her desk.

"Thank you very much Karen, I've missed home a lot though" I sigh to her. She smiles with sympathy and pats my hands that sit in my lap.

"Babe you are doing so well, your mom walks in everyday with a smile on her face and she is holding a magazine with you on the cover and she tells me how proud she is of you. Sure she misses you but you have to do what you need to" she tells me.

I nod understanding her 10o percent though I can't help but wonder how different my life would be if I moved back.

"What are you thinking darling?" Karen asks me. I shrug throwing the idea in my head away as I ask her about her son Ryan.

"He's amazing, just opened up his own business around a month ago with his father. He wants Ryan to take the business when he graduates"she smiles. Ryan was a year younger than me which makes him 17. He has been a close friend to me, like a little brother.

He had always asked me for girl advice and I would laugh when he would express his feelings to me. He had always been the type of girl to fall for every girl he saw. Except me, thank god.

"Maybe I'll drop by some day" I tell Karen. "I need to see my mother but I'm glad I saw you. I'll make sure to visit you next time I'm here" I hug her goodbye.

"Yes darling, bye and take care. Also you tell that Harry Styles to look after you or he will deal with me." She winks at me. My eyes go wide at her comment and I shake my head.

"Oh no he is just my best friend, Karen. Don't worry about that, he is an amazing guy and I'm very sure he will" I tell her. She nods and laughs at little.

I roll my eyes sarcastically as I walk to my moms office. When I get there I knock on the door before entering. I hear a 'come in' and I take that as my chance to open the door.

"HEY MOM!" I say loudly running into the room and moving from around the desk to hug my mother.

"BABY OH MY GOSH YOURE HERE!" She cries suddenly wrapping her arms around me tightly. "I've missed you baby girl. My little girl is all grown up. I'm so proud of you Ky, I see you in magazines or over the TV and I'm so proud of you. I love you" she cries into my shoulder.

"Oh mommy I love you as well and I couldn't be where I am without you, I hope you know that. You gave me something not no one else ever could as that is life. I couldn't be more happy because it was all you" I tell her as I feel my eyes water and soon enough they blur and tears hit my cheeks.

"I've missed you" she breathes out.

"I missed you more!" I hold her tightly and for a little while longer we both hit stand there holding each other because we both know I will be leaving soon again.

"Do you want me to show you the new office spaces?" She asks me. I nod and she takes my hand as we walk through the coroner together and people say a hello to me as I great one back.

When we walk into the large building area people are scattered everywhere either talking, eating, on their phones or just walking through.

I notice an amazing mirror and I take my moms hand and walk to it with her.

"Photo" I tell her. She laughs at me nodding and I snap a gorgeous picture of the both of us before I go into Instagram.

I post the photo while my mom continues to show me more of the building on different floors and tells me the recent gossip on her life.

"Oh mom before I leave Harry wants to take us both out for dinner tonight. What do you say?" I ask her.

"I'd love to hun, I can't wait to meet the guy my daughter spends all her time with" she smirks. I roll my eyes giving her one last bye before going back to Harry's place.
