Keegan's POV
---
I look away quickly from his stare as Irons starts to speak. "I wanted to meet the man who's mission it was to kill me" I looked at Mitchell who had a far away look in his eyes. "Our mission was to stop you" Cormack thrashed around in his cuffs "If that meant killing you I don't think anybody would be too troubled" Cormack says as Irons walks beside him as I stand at the door watching Irons movements. "Failure is not something we tolerate here at Atlas, so i'm disturbed that three of my best contractors have failed so miserably" Irons gestures to Ilona and Gideon and turns to Mitchell "Well that's how it is" I cut in and Irons send a small smile "Right. The wheat from the chaff, the strong from the weak..." he glanced around before turning back to Mitchell "The ancient spartans knew the true meaning of warfare" he says stepping closer to Mitchell. "But that truth has been lost to us...for two millennia" his face emotionless as he looked at Mitchell.Cormack perked up "What of your son, Will? Was he wheat or chaff?" Cormack asked. "Will was the victim of the misguided policies of the United States government" Irons strolled back to Cormack and Cormack yelled "Will died fighting for what he believed in!" Once again started to thrash in his handcuffs to no avail. "Of course dying for what you believe in doesn't make it true" I hand over the pistol in my hand to Irons who continued to speak as he took death in the shape of a gun and shot Cormack in the side. Of course I knew what Irons plans were but I still let a gasp of despair escape out of my lips. "Your not young but you are strong , Cormack..." he paused turning to Mitchell. "So I give you twenty minutes to bleed out" his voice was stone cold as he went around Cormack and grabbed a wrench "Time enough to consider whether it was all worth it".
"And you." Irons pushed the wrench to the young traitor's cheek moving it aside "The prodigal son returns" his voice was like acid. "I believed in you" his breath stank as he spoke to Mitchell "I gave you a second chance" he waved the wrench his eyes filled with so much hate that they glowed red. As Irons took the wrench and smashed it into Mitchell's prosthetic arm his strangled screams of pain rang in my ears as Irons continued to smash into the prosthetic a second time before giving Mitchell one last hate filled gaze dropping the wrench. "You're nothing like Will" Irons spat before leaving with me following him. I snuck a glance at Gideon knowing I will see him soon as he still had yet for me to make him suffer.
I walked away from that room not following Irons anymore and turned a corner to conjoined hallway that lead to where Gideon and Ilona were.
