I was taking Katrina to the park woods for a picnic. When I got a text from Nicky.
To- Willie
Hey, I saw you at the cafe. Who's the girl?
Nicky is Harry and Caleigh's daughter. She's my girl bestie. We have a weird relationship. We have our little fights now and then but we're attached at the hip.
W- The girl is Katrina. She's my girlfriend.
N- Ohh! I have a question. Are ya free tomorrow?
W- Yeah! See ya at 2.
N- Kk! See ya then!
Nicky's POV
I can't believe he has a girlfriend! Great! Another guy gone from my life! I have to talk to him. I have to tell him. I just... ugh! "Nicky! Dinner!" My mum called. "Be there in a sec!" I hollered back. I walked down the stairs into the kitchen. "Hey, sweetie." My dad said while he walked up to me and kissed my forehead. "Hey Daddy." I said back. "What's wrong?" He asked worried. "Two words. William Tomlinson." He frowned. He was the only one who knew how I felt. I tell my dad EVERYTHING. "We'll talk later. Now we eat, your mum's awesome food!" He smiled at my mum. They look so cute together. They look so in love. My mum tells me how they met a lot. Only because I ask. It's so cute how they met. "What are we having?" I ask looking at the pot on the stove. "Spaghetti." My dad smiled. Mmm my favorite. My mum makes the best. "Mum. Thanks." She looked puzzled. "Why are you saying thank you?" "Because. Your the best." I answered. After dinner my dad and I walked into my room. "What did he do?" He asked instantly after I closed the door. "He got a girlfriend and told me straight up. Daddy? Why are guys so stupid?" I asked. He just shrugged. "We just are. We don't realize the thing girls do." He sighed. "Oh. But why can't he realize after what 16 years?" He sighed again. Wow he does that a lot. My phone started ringing. 'tonight let's go crazy crazy crazy-" I answered and my dad smirked at the ringtone. I smiled and stuck out my tongue.
"Hello?"
"Nicky?" I heard his voice.
"What William?"
"We need to talk!" He shouted through the phone.
"Kay what time?"
"Now. Come over, please." I sighed and asked if I could go.
I went and when I got there William was sitting on the stairs with his face in his hands. Oh no! Something is wrong. I walked up to him and sat down. "I'm so stupid Nicky! She was cheating on me with Jonah!" I sighed and hugged him. "She lied to me. She said he was her cousin." I rubbed circles on his back and let him cry. He was a mess. "It's okay. I'm here." I tried soothing him. "We should go inside." He looked up at me with puffy eyes. Aww. He looks like a lost puppy. Oh god he was so hurt. We got up and walked in. "Willwie what's wong?" Cassie asked. "Nothing, sweetie. He,s just tired." I lied. I hated lying to her. She looked worried. "Okway." She is too cute. We walked up the stairs and into his room. He crashed. "N-Nicky. Why does it hurt?" He cried. "Why does what hurt?" "My heart. It hurts really bad." I felt sorry for him. He didn't deserve this. "William, your an amazing guy. She doesnt deserve your tears or your hope. I know someone that does." He looked up at me with hope. "Who?" He asked with hope and disparity in his voice. "She is in front of your face, William." He got up and looked at me. "I love you, William." He smiled down at me. He leaned in and kissed me. I kissed him back. The was a knock at the door and a gasp. We jumped apart. "Why hello Nicky! Uh so... what's up between you to?" Taylor walked in. I blushed madly. "Uh...um...Mum, uh..." He panicked. I smiled. "We don't know. Mrs. Tomlinson." "Nicky! What did I say about calling me that?" "To not call you that, and call you mum." I laughed. She smiled at us. "I knew you would end up together eventually! Louis! It happened! Pay up!" Did they bet on us? Yup Louis pulled out 200 dollars. Oh wow! "Did you guys bet on us getting together?" William asked like he read my mind. "No...maybe...yes" Louis said. "Hey! Nicky they do pay attention!" William joked. "Yeah! They do! How are we gonna tell my parents?" "Oh they bet on it too. I owe them 400 dollars." Louis said sighing.
