Jeremy takes a deep, shaky breath before saying, "I-I'm sorry Vincent but.....
I can't love you..."
Vincent felt his heart, or what was left of it shatter into a million pieces. All he could say was
"Why?"
Jeremy looks away. "I'm too....b-broken...I-if I love again I'll get hurt..." "But you hurt me without a second thought?" Vincent had tears in his eyes. He wanted to cry.
'Not in front of Jeremy' He thought to himself
"T-that's....not what I-I meant...." Jeremy stutters. "That's what you said. You don't even seem to care that you shattered me!" He yells at Jeremy causing him to recoil, "D-don't hurt me...!" Vincent's angered look fades into a somber one, "Jeremy...I would never hurt you...." he puts a hand on his shoulder. The younger male whimpers and hugs him tight crying, "I-I'm sorry! I-I d-didn't mean to hurt y-you!"
The older looks down at him and kissed his forehead, "Can we give it a try?"
"Yes....my love..."
