Wilting

Like A Flickering Flame,

Hope Is Slowly Being Snuffed Out

Into Nothing But Ashes.

Like A Flower That Has Aged Too Long,

Its Wilting,

Petals Falling To The Ground.

Like A Wound On Your Wrist.

Flowing Out In Crimson Waves

Until There Is Nothing Left.

Like The Sun Setting In The Evening,

Painting The Sky Red And Orange.

Until Finally Fading To Black.

Hope Dies,

Like Everything Else.

Even If You Try Your Hardest

To Bring It Back To Life.

You'll Always Fail.
