You walked hurriedly through the crowd, keeping your head down you wanted to put as much distance between the guards and you as possible, the market was busy with people, talking and buying things. With stall holders shoving fish, jewellery and other items in your face, which you politely declined.

You were in quite a quaint little town with, unfortunately lots of guards, although it did have a magnificent view of the sea. But you couldn't look at that right now. You turned around to see the guards were no where to be found. You let out a sigh of relief and stuck your hand into your brown trouser pocket and pulled out the small pouch of money you had stolen off a guard.

Risky, you know but where was the fun in stealing, if their wasn't a little thrill to it. A women thief, you were looked down upon in society, but you couldn't care less. It was better than begging or becoming a 'lady of the night' it disgusted you how women were so willing to sell their bodies.

The sun was setting, so you diverted of the main path and into an ally, where you climbed a ladder and pushed open a window, into a small dingy, messy room. Your home. It was best you could do with what you had and besides the bed was comfy. You walked over to your bed and lifted up a floorboard, underneath their was a small box, you picked up the box and opened it to see all the loot you had collected, you smiled as you opened the pouch and tipped a few gold coins into the box.

When you put the box away, you ruffled your (colour) hair and climbed out of window, down the ladder and onto the streets, you deserved a drink after your hard work. You walked towards your favourite pub, Neptune's Lady, and pushed the door open, the scent of alcohol and smoke was enough to make you double over. Drunken shouts, giggles from women, and the bartender yelling at his waitresses. You rolled your eyes at said bartender and leant against the counter.

"Having trouble, Jimmy" You asked him, with a small smile, you were a regular here so naturally you became friends with the brunette. Jimmy was a rounded fellow, with a raspy voice and a permanently red face. A frown was plastered on his face as he turned to you, "Aye, bloody wench's are as lazy as full seagull's" he said aggravated

Before grabbing a bear glass and a towel and cleaning it, "The usual?" He asked "The usual" you replied, Jimmy then filled the beer glass with your favourite beer. "The boys are playing at the back" he said with a jerk of his head "Alright, cheers Jimmy" you said as you weave through hustle of people, some gambling, other men had women on their laps.

Some of the drunken men were looking you up and down greedily, other women were talking about your taste in fashion. White blouse, tight brown trousers and brown heeled boots, where not the range, you ignored them and made your way to a long table at the back of the room.

Several men were sitting around it with a deck of cards in their hands, and in the centre of the table was a large stack of gold, "Hey boys" you said as you approached, taking a swig of your beer, most of them replied back but weren't taking their eyes of their cards you placed down your money and pulled up a chair and someone dealt you a hand of cards.
