A/N: I've realised i haven't wrote to this story in a very long time, at which i apologise. It's just a side project when i get sick of writing to one story all the time.

Rachel

The worst thing about being Chloe's friend is having her drag you out on shopping trips, my time spent sitting on a small sofa in the changing rooms waiting for her to try on the clothes she never buys. I've been sat here since ten-thirty, and it is now eleven. I'm hungry and bored out of my mind. The only thing that makes this remotely tolerable is that Chloe has a nice body, other than that, I hate every minute of it. Puffing up my cheeks I looked around the room, the walls a sickly mint green, my eyes landing on a group of girls towards the furthest end of the changing rooms. I tore my eyes away from them when Chloe came out in a summer dress, striking a pose in front of me with an, 'how does it look?' expression. I gave her a small smile causing her to roll her eyes and go back in to change again, a sigh escaping my lips.

From the right of me I heard someone call my name, my head turning to look at them automatically as he approached me a girl following behind him. I raised an eyebrow when he hugged me tightly into him, making me feel uncomfortable while the girl stood there awkwardly looking at us. I gave her a soft smile when I pushed Paul away from me, scooting down the sofa to put distance between him and I.

“What you doing here?” he asked. I just gave him a dumbfounded look, like he just asked the most stupidest question in the world. Unless I was here to watch all the girls, which makes me wonder how he even got into this changing room.

“I'm here with Chloe.” I told him unwillingly.

His eyes lit up at her name, making me feel sick when he got up from the sofa. Assuming she was in the cubicle I was sat in front of. Which by all means was correct, because she confirmed it when she answer him to her name.

“Hi, I'm Ava.” I introduced myself since Paul didn't do it, holding my hand out for her to take. Her light brown eyes flickering down at my hand before she took it.

“I'm Rachel.” She smiled revealing a set of pearly whites, I couldn't help but smile back. Her left hand moving her dark hair out from her face while she sat down next to me.

Just when I was going to spark up a conversation with her while we both waited for the two of them to stop talking, Paul turned around and glared at me for talking to Rachel. I couldn't help but let out a small laugh at how petty he is, my eyes quickly looked over at Chloe who just shot me a warning look to keep my mouth shut. Running my hands over my face I leaned back against the sofa, crossing my arms over my chest. I knew what was coming before he even opened up his condescending trap, to let his lovely sharp tongue voice his thoughts and opinions.

“Hey Rach, has she made a move on you yet?” A smug look on his face causing her to look slightly confused at whatever it was he was talking about. Chloe came from behind Paul, standing in the middle of him and me.

“I don't understand.” Was all she said, her eyes looking at me warily. I just let out a single laugh with no humour.
