Derek's POV*
"They've been in there too long, what the hell have I done? I should've kept him back. Goddammit." The alpha scolded himself as he began to worry as his mate and pup had been in there for at least half an hour. Derek started to whine and whimper as is worry began to increase dramatically. As much as the man tried to stop his whimpering he couldn't and as a result he caused the rest of his pups to start whining. He couldn't help but feel weak, stupid and useless, while his mate and pup were inside that place looking for something that may or may not even exist.Allison's scream broke through the air, causing all the wolves to growl out at the dark room. The taller man growled ferociously at the scream along with the rest of the pack.
"What the hell is going on in there?!" Scott barked out. Derek didn't respond as his instincts alerted the man to something else, something more malignant. The now wolfed out man turned from the pack and made his way away from the entrance to where his pack stay, confusion and fear was emitting from his pups in powerful and nearly overwhelming waves. That didn't stop the alpha as he continued to increase the distance between himself and the others but that scent... there was something Derek couldn't quite distinguish about it.As the werewolf continued to follow the scent he grew anxious as well as eager to decimate whatever had caught his attention and brought him away from the ones he loved. The passage widened into some sort of...'What is that? Is that a.....training room.' The wolf questioned. Taking a step inside, the scent grew more pungent. It smelt the same as what it did where he left the pups. The alpha took a step back, averting his gaze from the mass amount of weaponry that varied from crossbows, swords, nunchucks to hand to hand knives and the occasional fighting stick, the wolf howled. The howl racked and shook the ruins as his called echoed throughout the passage ways and chamber.
A howl, Scott's, played back to him, signalling that he and the rest of the other teens were making their way to their leader.
It wasn't long before the pups stood before the one who had summoned them. The pups all covered their noses. "Why the hell does this room reek of the one we were just at and why the hell aren't we back with Stiles and Allison?" The werecoyote demanded. "First, I'm not too sure about the scent and two, if you just look behind me you'll see." The fatherly figure responded, stepping aside to allow the pups a view as to why he had called them.
"I-is that a-a training room?" Isaac stuttered out. "I believe so." Erica, being calm as usual decided to shoot a question. "If this is some sort of training/assassin room, what are they training and who is it that is being trained?" This caused a few heads to be cocked to the side, meaning they were awaiting a response which Derek honestly had no clue to. "I don't know, and that's what I don't like."
A bright light appeared and disappeared almost as abruptly as it appeared causing the pups and Derek to look at the source of the sudden illumination. "Kira? Why did you just take a photo?" Said girl just blushed, hardly noticeable but enough to be made out. "Because, well, I thought I could show Stiles this after and see what he thinks...he is the son of a cop after all and well, he's Stiles.." The Kitsune responded. Derek nodded, understanding Kira's reasoning. "Well, I for one don't feel right leaving mom back there, so...yeah. I'm gonna head back." Jackson retorted. "Yeah, I think I may head back too" Isaac chimed in. The pup never was good at being away from his momma or being in dark, confined areas. "Okay, well, since we have that photo-thank you Kira- we can now examine this place back home and if need be we will come back. So..let's go and check on your mom and see what the hell that girl was screaming about." The alpha suggested.
The pack made their way back to the place they left the other two pack members to be met by his fiancé and pup and another person standing between the two. He couldn't quite make out who the child was as his-it is boy right?- hung his head low, avoiding eye contact him. "Babe, who's that beside you? And Allison, what on earth was that god forsaken scream for?" Stiles looked to the child to his left before responding, "Good to know you still care Sourwolf and this is, well we don't exactly know who this boy is. Oh and this girl here screamed because she found this boy lying on the floor naked." Stiles answered as he placed a kiss on the said girls forehead. "Course I care hun." Derek responded as a walked to his lovers side as he placed a chaste kiss upon his little red riding hood. Scott let out a low growl after processing the news about his girlfriend finding the boy NAKED on the ground. "Oh shut it Scott." The huntress teased, making the wolf cease his growl.
Everyone inspected the new found child-sniffing, listening anything they are able to do to find who the boy is and why he was in this horrid place except for Derek and Stiles. Stiles couldn't necessarily suss the kid out since he's human and all but Stiles being Stile, immediately said yes to looking after the kid...sometimes I really wish he wasn't so god damn maternal. Derek muttered. However, Derek didn't like this boy, something didn't feel right to him he didn't know if it was is scent, why he would be here in the first place or just the weird tugging feeling he got in the back of his mind. If he would just look up God dammit and show his face. The man quipped louder, hoping the boy would take notice and hopefully show his face to the respective Alpha.
Derek had no choice but to allow the child to tag along but for one reason and one reason only. Why didn't he seem right? After the pack pups had finally finished sussing the boy out they all made their way back to the entrance of the old ruins, back towards the banshee and the youngest pup, Liam.
As the pack continued their way through the many passageways -thank God they had werewolf senses, else they'll be bumping into everything and getting lost, all except Stiles who clung to Isaac while tripping over his own feet- but while doing so Derek noticed that Scott was now walking by his side. God dammit, that kids getting to sneaky for my liking, besides...wait, that kid better not be using that stealth to sneak around the house at night to go 'chill' with Allison. I'm gonna talk to him bout that later. "Derek, I don't like this boy." The beta stated, bringing Derek out of his train of thought. He only calls me by my name when something's wrong "Why's that? Is it because Allison saw him naked?" The alpha smirked as he said this, gaining a deep blush and a growl from Scott. "Lighten up kid, I'm teasing. I can't always come across as the big bad wolf now can I? As fun as it is, I like to be myself" Scott let out a deep sigh before answering back. "I know Derek, but it's just..when we you know, scented him and stuff like, you taught us during training, he.. I can't explain it but, he doesn't exactly well, have a scent. It's like he's hidden it. Plus he's avoiding showing us his eyes." The dark haired boy explained. "I've noticed the eye thing.. It's starting to seriously frustrate me, but you know how Stiles is when he gets maternal...nothing will get through to him." Scott nodded in agreement. "He can be pretty thick, even back when we were mates before the whole engagement, pack mom and supernatural stuff. So back when things were boring." Derek smiled at the ingenuity in the Beta's words. Derek couldn't be more proud of the boy and he felt like if anything is to happen to him, the boy will step up and make a great alpha.
Derek wrapped an arm around the boy showing him that he actually cared and had emotion instead of being the person he used to be- mad, closed off and insecure- but with this pack he felt none of that, that is until he saw that boy. "Scott. I need you to watch your back from now on." Scott looked up towards the man, confusion written across his face. Honestly, this boy can be so clueless at times. "Like you said, there's something about him and I don't trust him." Nodding in understanding, the beta looked up at the alpha. "Don't worry Dad, I'll rip his throat out with my teeth if he does anything."

Nearing the exit, Stiles no longer tripping himself over as he can now see, the pack made their way outside. It took a few second for the supernatural teens to regain focus on their vision. Making their way over to the cars the noticed that Lydia was running circles across Liam's back. What's going on with him. He's never like this? The banshee gave him a reassuring look, confirming that he was okay.
Jackson walked over to Lydia and placed a soft kiss on her cheek before making his way over to the porsche, Aiden tailing behind him. "Come on pups, lets get back in the cars and head home and I'll make dinner." That's exactly what the pack did along with the young boy. They their way to the cars they originally drove here in and made a start for home.
